Mama mia, maars dit is daarem ‘n klompie!
Ciao a tutti and Forza Italia tomorrow! Won’t be here as I am visiting friends this weekend, so make sure you guys throw your support behind the azzurri.
Well played Scotland, just had a hectic skype going there and could not blog…!!
Congratulations to my team !! 🙂
@ The_Young_Turk:213 – hehehe. Think the whole of South Africa and Australia will be throwing their support behind the ‘Azzurri’ 😆
Though if Ireland go through I will root for them on the otherside cause of our good friend Irish Devil that used to post here. For now will have to put our support behind Italy for the Bokke.
Only 4 Pool games left… then it’s the knock-out stages!
And they all happen tomorrow….
36 Games already gone, only 12 to go in RWC 2011
@ Blue Bird:214 – Well done to England BB.
Scotland once again fall at the end.
@ grootblousmile:216 – World Cup has gone by like a flash.
Really hope we beat Oz next week and still here for the semi against ABs. I feel losing Fransie is a massive loss and our chances has taken a massive dip without him. He was a huge weapon for us.
Next LIVE Rugby on R-T…. this afternoon!
2 Currie Cup matches:
Free State Cheetahs vs MTN Lions – 15:00
The Sharks vs DHL Western Province – 17:05
Ag no we are so dissapointed, should have won this one and last week! Can’t see Georgia beating Argentina tomorrow.
218 @ Puma:
You know I did not think much of Fransie’s form or inclusion in the World Cup squad, because he was plying his trade in France… but damn, the man has proven me wrong!
I am also very worried that he’s most probably out, he’s been so much better than Jean de Villiers… no comparison even!
Aussie are struggling with injuries, and this morning they lost Drew Mitchell on top of it all, so the Bokke stand a good chance… even a better chance if the weather is foul.
Will be hard, and we know the Wallabies always lift their game when they confront the Bokke!
From now on, a loss means you’re going home…. but we’ll scream and shout like mad.
Go Bokke!
@ grootblousmile:221 – Fransie has always been my favourite player. Always rated him highly. Pleased he proved many wrong. Just saying it in a good way. Cause we needed some to see what we have in him. A massive weapon we have lost now.
The same would be if we lost Brussow. Those were the two players I really hoped like made yesterday would not pick up a injury. Saw when Fransie picked up the injury. Was only about 5min left to play. He was right at the bottom of a pile of Samoans. That is where he hurt his arm. Hoped like crazy he would be okay after but not to be. What a pity. If we make it to the semi feel Nonu will have a sigh of relief he won’t have to face Frans Steyn.
@ Puma:222 – made = mad
@ grootblousmile:221 – Cheers boeta. I am out of here.
I have not posted this world cup when our Boks have played. Cause many of us go out to watch all of our games together. Good vibe doing it that way. Can’t wait for the next world cup, cause it is on our own time zone again. So much better to watch later in the day.
Also want to congratulate you on the rugby live threads. NO other site does it quite as good as you gbs. You here always giving a live commentary all the way. Well done. This has to be the best site for when the games are on cause of that. Keep it up boeta.
Anyhow out of here now.
GO MY SHARKS FOR LATER. 🙂
224 @ Puma:
Thanks for the compliment!
I do the Online commentary mostly for those who are not as fortunate as us who see every game… some read my comments to follow the game in some chronological order… I’ve had numerous mails regarding this to thank R-T for that.
As far as I’m concerned… Go Lions and Go Sharks… for this afternoon!
@ superBul:
Dear superBul,
I have only just read the beginning of this thread and have just seen your comment that you too were going to call for England.
Excellent choice if I may say so, and thanks for standing shoulder to shoulder with me, I am honoured!! 🙂
