Sharks 53 / Lions 9 (Final score)
The Sharks hosted the MTN Golden Lions at Kings Park, Durban at 19:10 SA Time.
This was the live match discussion Article.
The sharks totally outclassed a lethargic and error ridden Lions side to book a home semi final against the Free state Cheetahs next week, where they will certainly carry all of the momentum.
The match was broadcast LIVE on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.

29@ Scrumdown:agree, some dreadful handling
How can you make sure there’s daylight between tackler and tacklee when it’s night time?
1 Point ball game.
Taute v lambie. Taute more potential IMO.
where was the support?
34@ Scrumdown:Always going to be a tough one, for me Lambie has the x factor
35@ Just For Kicks:
In the pub behind the main grandstand!
I wonder if Skeat thinks that his beard makes him look any bigger
Hoekom speel Butch nie vir die Leeus nie ?
37@ Scrumdown:there as well!
36@ Just For Kicks:
Yes, but Taute is VERY strong under the ball, on defence and on attack. He stays on his feet so well in the tackle and always seems to get across the advantage line.
Both have a VERY big Rugby future.
38: dit werk vir Strauss.
@ ben_die_bul:
Op die bank.
Yellow card coming for the Lions. Maybe red.
Yellow card time
Ref gets the wrong player…… Penis head.
Calls No 4 then sends no 5 off. WTF?
41@ Scrumdown:Agree, we have a few very promising FB’s at the moment
Apologies Mr ref. It was Rhodes who trangressed.
Hopeless Sharkeis, if you want to score tries, you need the ball
Lions defence holding well. You wouldn’t think this game means nothing to them in terms of log position and who they may play where.
Great line break, tryyyyyyyyy!
Lost my link 🙁
And converted
Try and conversion puts the Guppies 8 points ahead.
53@ The_Young_Turk:look under your desk
Untidy game overall.
These players been watching too much WC Rugby.
@ Just For Kicks:
No, not there either
If I know Mitchell he’ll drop Rhodes for this indescretion.
