The Currie Cup First Division Final between the Boland Kavaliers and EP Kings is in about 10 minutes (16:00).
There won’t be a seperate Game Article for it, being a second tier competition… but I’ll be watching it and keeping you updated with the scores here, from time to time.

4 @ Ashley:
Unfortunately they don’t have money…
I also dream some funny shit from time to time.
We (Handbriekie and Myself) are going to Sun City this weekend…. maybe I should dream about winning a maaaa’se mooooooooo’se jackpot… hehehehe
Andile Witbooi scores for the Kings….
… maar hysie so wit as wat sy naam vertel nie….. hehehe
Kings 7 / 3
I see Snor is at the game…. maybe he’s looking for a new cappie and a lock…. hehehe
Boland Fullback gets a yellow card
11@ grootblousmile:….Or a new coaching job – with a bit of luck!
13 @ Just For Kicks:
Flok, he’s not half as good as Loffie or Solomons…. hehehe
14@ grootblousmile:Hmmmm, and we thought Meyer was a better coach too! Ring any bells?
15 @ Just For Kicks:
Meyer was… and is.
Wonder where the Bokke would have been now after 4 years under Heyneke Meyer….
16@ grootblousmile:Thats an easy question, even I can answer that one – Still in New Zealand!
17 @ Just For Kicks:
So, if that is the conviction, should he not be the logical option for the next 4 years?
18@ grootblousmile:If he wanted it, but I don’t think he does
19 @ Just For Kicks:
He works for a South African Franchise… is seemingly up with the modern game…
I’m sure if a concerted effort is made by SARU and there is constructive talks with the Blue Bulls Company and Meyer, that a deal could be worked out?
It would mean SARU has to act in the interests of SA Rugby (which is their mandate after all)…
He wanted it 4 years ago, what could so radically have changed? Only maybe his feelings towards some tossers at SARU, surely?
18@ Just For Kicks:Thats not to say he’s necessarily my personal choice though
Boland 13 / 7
Lemoenetyd
21 @ Just For Kicks:
I hear what you say… but it would already be an improvement, won’t it, even for guys like you who don’t think he’s the best out there…
His strenght lies in 4 things…
1. Man-management and garnishing the team’s 150% belief in his systems
2. Bloody astute picking of Assistants
3. Bringing key players through
4. Divising a game plan which suits his personnel
20@ grootblousmile:I just don’t believe he would ever want to work with the current bunch at SARU
24 @ Just For Kicks:
Maybe, but that’s an endictment against SARU, not against Meyer.
2nd half on
Boland 16 / 7
Ligtoring Landman scores for Boland
Boland 23 / 7
25@ grootblousmile:Can’t agree more, and as much that has been said about Snor, it is SARU to blame ultimately, so I can see why no one wants to work with them
