Geez, but i’m so impressed with how far technology has come in cricket. I haven’t been watching regularly for the last 10 years and things have changed completely. Taken the double-guessing and controversy right out of the picture. Why can’t we do the same for rugby and get rid of all this negativity and conspiracy theories over the referee.
Oh wait! Maybe that is the conspiracy. They don’t want to bring in technology because then they won’t be able to manipulate the result anymore
It is sad for Morkel , but he should have known it, the Aussies always do it. When a bowler gets a great accolade like Morne did, becoming the no 1 in world, they WILL target you next game. They know how to chirp and they know how to unsettle you when you are ridding the high waves.
Another 2 Aussie wickets and the fight will be on….
@ grootblousmile:
Yip, but their good start permits the new batsmen time to play themselves in. We need another quick wicket. Gou gou!!
Botha is really making life difficult for the batsmen.
Proteas were on 102 runs after 22 overs….
If they can halt run-scoring for a few overs, the doubt would start to set in with the Aussies…
… and a wicket or 2 more will be very useful….
That’s the problem with such a small target. The occasional boundary is all Oz needs to keep in touch.
We lost this game with that low score, can we steal it back?
Maiden over by Botha…
91 / 3 after 19 overs
Brilliant Johan Botha
5 overs for 7 runs plus 1 wicket.

98 / 3 after 20 overs.
7 From this last Morkel over
@ The_Young_Turk:
This WC did more damage than good for Rugby.
@ superBul:
Maybe good can come of it if it prods the IRB to introduce some changes.
@ grootblousmile:
Morkel has been too expensive so far with just 1 wicket to show for it.
Nee flok, nou kort ons serious wickets…
I think that maybe SA should try the slower bowlers to make Oz work for the runs.
End of over 21 (6 runs) Australia 104/3 (119 runs required from 29 overs, RR: 4.95, RRR: 4.10)
Morkel and Tsotsobe have just been too expensive with only 1 wicket between the two of them.
No kak man, Morne!
Flok, 9 runs from the Morkel over…
Not good enough.

Problem with Tsotsie is that he gets 2 balls on average very wrong per over… giving away easy runs
Yip… 2 balls from Tsotsie goes for 4 each…. eishhhh
@ grootblousmile:
Eggzaggerly! I just wanted to say the same thing!
Kallis back in the attack… might be wise.
His line and lenght is usually spot-on
Did you guys pick the Lions or the sharks for tomorrow?
No we need to get on the slow bowlers as I said earlier. I should be the farking non-playing captain
@ superBul:
Heart for Lions, Head for Sharks.
Kallis bowling well 3 overs for 10 runs plus a wicket
85 @ superBul:
I must still do my pick…
I’m a bit stumped as to who to pick.
@ grootblousmile:
Think of it in this way. Who would you bet your house on if you had to?
