Wallabies coach, Robbie Deans, will have 24 fit players to choose from for the Russia game, and as injury has severely hit the back-line contingent, some selection manipulations will be required.
How dramatic team selections will become will depend largely on whether Faingaa will be allowed to play after being concussed in the final minute of the US match.
Penalty Georgia, on halfway, right near the touch line

Soft spot for the men. A harder spot for the ladies.

Thank goodness!
Look what the All Blacks say about their own scrum.
Forget the Unsmiling Giants tag – these All Blacks forwards could yet have a charitable streak tucked beneath their layers of muscle, gristle and bone.
While their final pool match against Canada at Wellington Regional Stadium on Sunday is expected to be an easy romp for the New Zealanders, scrum coach Mike Cron will not be ordering them to embark on a search and destroy mission in the set-pieces.
It is not just the Canadians’ physical wellbeing Cron is concerned about.
He is also mindful the All Blacks’ scrummaging dominance could result in the referee – this week it is Frenchman Romain Poite – blasting them off the park.
“We have probably been guilty earlier in the campaign of being just a fraction too aggressive and it ends up in a collapse and it ends up in a penalty against you,” Cron noted.
Penalty Georgia, easy one.

Lots of penalties in the game, lots of blatant infringements though
Penalty Georgia again, offside by Romania, they go for touch… and an excellent touchfinder

Kieran Read was nursing another rolled ankle today but the All Blacks are still confident he will play their final pool match against Canada on Sunday.
Read, who has not played at the World Cup since injuring his ankle against the Wallabies in Brisbane last month, was limping at the end of training at Rugby League Park.
However, All Blacks scrum coach Mike Cron allayed fears the injury was serious and with four days left until the test at Wellington Regional Stadium was upbeat about the influential No 8’s chances of still being named in the side when it is released on Friday.
A battered and bruised Samoa will field the oldest line-up of any team at Rugby World Cup 2011 when they face defending champions South Africa in their must-win match on Friday.
Coach Titimaea Tafau, who made few changes in his three previous games, made just two when he named his XV on Wednesday for the Pool D clash at North Harbour Stadium.
In and out, hello all.
2nd Half on!

Hello Loskoppie.
How’s the finger?
@ superBul:
With an average of 30 years and 51 days, Samoa are fielding their oldest starting line-up ever in a RWC match.
It is also the oldest starting line-up by any team in a World Cup match since England’s in the RWC 2007 final (30 years 299 days).
