@ Puma:
Thats it Clyde Tahbone…went to Westville Boys….he is still in Oz with his whole family.
@ superBul:148 – Super, I picked France for sure, just can’t remember by how much. I do these picks without much thought really. Just pick them quick.
oops RATHBONE
146@ 4man:
You don’t need to tell me about SARU. I fought that fight for 6 long years with a “coloured” club.
Never received one cent of development budget from either SARU or the GLRU.
When you look at CAR (Confederation of African Rugby) it’s a disaster. Political interference everywhere and major splits along language and cultural lines.
There is a small but growing movement that wants African Rugby to be split into two groups, North and South. Makes sense in many ways, but the “old farts” in Dublin are very stoic about the issue.
@ Puma:
Rumania is a good team and have come on in leaps and bounds…lots of Romanian boys playing rugby in England now, they are part of EU so they come here and do all the k*k jobs that the Brits don’t want to do.
@ Scrumdown:
I remember your team and the hassles you had….voldemort days.
Now for England to demolish the Argies…..
New stadium in Dunedin looks amazing.
Covered with a roof that allows photosynthetic light through to allow the grass to grow, with small low down openings in the corners to allow natural wind in.
The construction manager on the project was a SAFFA.
Weet julle ouens wat n “Parragiempie” is?
@ Scrumdown:
I’ll be watching this one.
@ 4man:151 – From what I know he is still there. His family lived in Warner Beach. Think they are all in Oz now.
@ 4man:
The club made the final of their senior league for the first time ever this year but went down to Soweto.
The U19’s won their league.
Like to think I made a difference in the culture of the club that will help them in the future, but you know the story about taking your hand out of a bucket of water…. no hole getas left behind.
no one wants to know what a parragiempie is….can’t believe it!!!
@ Puma</safert security?
Yeah thats right my Durban China….they all left and the minister of sport/ was still bloody rude to his Granny.
@ 4man:158 – Someone that drinks paraffin?…….hehehehehe.
@ 4man:
A native of Papua New Ginuae?
@ Scrumdown:
too true about the bucket….but footprints get left behind….I’m sure you made a difference which will stay with some of those guys for their lives. I too mentor people and some of my youngsters have gone on to do amazing things….they still come to me for advice….makes you feel all warm….like pi**ing in a wetsuit (I’m not being facetious)
@ 4man:163 – Who was the minister of sport then?
@ Puma:
@ Scrumdown:
No…but close Scrumdown you can only say this in AFrikaans “dis n klein ou wat tussen jou ballas hare bly en as die maan vol is of dit wereld beker tyd is dan hardloop hy bo-entoe en staan aan jou voelkop en blaf vir die maan”
The England / argies Game Thread is up… let’s migrate there!
@ Puma:
I dont think it was sport, I think it was safety and security and when i/viewed on tv the old lady said she is sad to go but doesn’t feel safe in her own home in Westville so is following the rest of the family…his comment was something along the lines “well go then, we don’t need people like you here”….serious doos.
168 @ 4man:
Nee man, dis ‘n Kaliepie… en hy blaf vir jou ballas.
Dis ook die kleinste lewende wese op aarde, hy bly in ‘n vlooi se balsak se plooi!
