Penalty to Namibia right in front, they go for a lineout. 5 meters from line. From the line out no 15 score on the other corner
Chrysander Botha scored the try but the place kicking of Kotze not acurate.
Namibia 25-39 Fiji
@ superBul:
Can you please correct the spelling of Nmibia to Namibia in the heading? GBS must have had a few sletsappies too many last night.
I would dare and say that Namibia runs just as well with the ball but their hands are much poorer than the Fijians. If some of the Nam passes sticked this would have been a close free flowing game. Both teams run well.
@ Loosehead:
i missed it too
Come on Namibia.
Donner. It is raining.
Again a Namibian chip kick straight out, had it stayedin it would have been great
Namibia knocks on near Fiji 22 move ends on their own 10 meter line
I am really enjoying this game.
Brilliant breakout by 15 Chrysander Botha from deep in his own 22 stopped on the Fijian 22
Is that a TRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
Try by Namibia , held up called by the ref, they go now to TMO
NO Try , 5 meter scrum
Wasted.
Scrum 5 meters from Fiji line , Namibia feeds. After a poor pass by no 9 the attack was killed off. To add they kick the ball straight down a Fijian throat for a mark inside their 22
2 or 3 times the ref could have penalised Fiji for their poor dicipline, especialy during retaliations. Soft on the wissle.
That kills off any chance of Namibia winning the game.
penalty by Fiji 42 – 25
Fiji found some breath , going for corner after another penalty. They score another try in the corner by 11 Naipolioni Nalaga
Time up Fiji hard on attack
Final score Fiji 49 – 25 Namibia
Two things cost Namibia this game, great kicking by Fiji and poor finishing by Namibia.
Namibia still seaching for their first ever WC win. This one was there for the taking.
Winning margin 24
Superbru honors for this game goes to Lommies and Durban Bulle, both got 2 points with their prediction of a 25 point win to Fiji.
Well done Namibia, really enjoyable game to watch – Fiji were always going to win, but Namibia turned it into a decent match and finished honours intact
