This should be a tough match, with the Italians masters at the set-piece. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Wallabies fare against a side they have traditionally struggled against.
The scrum fare should be attractive to Loosehead and I’m looking forward to reading critiques on the Wallabies’ scrum.
Go the Wallabies.
Goooooood Morning Rugby Lovers.
@ Scrumdown:
G’day Scrummie, this match is going to be all about your favourite thing in life: the scrum. How do you think the Wallabies will fare?
Just time for coffee before kick off.
Italy will be looking for a point or 2 out of this game.
You Bulls supporters out there, your team keeps on screwing my Superbru.
Pleeeeeease ask the team to get with the program.
Morning all!
Looking forward to a great day of rugby, even though I have to go to work just before 07h00.
@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:
G’morning / Afternoon, Evening OG, depending on what it is now there by you.
I have a sneaky feeling the Wallabies will stand up ok.
I think they’ll play a high tempo expansive game in order to keep the set scrums to a minimum, concentrate on quick channel one scrum ball on their own scrum, and only contest the Italian scrum when REALLY required.
This is an important game for this group.
If Italy can do well and even get a losing bonus point or possibly two, they’ll fancy their chances against the Oirish.
I hope the weatheer allows for the Wallabies to be creative, but it doesn’t look too great on my tv.
@ Loosehead:
I may have a k@k boss, but at least he’s a Rugby fanatic so noooooo work for me today.
Hellooooooooooooooooo
I’m on duty!
Won’t say I’m awake… but I’m here!
Anthems are done… time for ruggas!
Real kak rugby weather in Albany!
Atrocious weather conditions; what a shocker, rain and wind.
This k@k weather is just what I’ve feared for 2 years re this world cup.
It has every possibility of spoiling the WC as a spectascle and as a tool to attract people to the sport of Rugby Union.
Game ON!
Bog trotting, French speaking Ref loving these weather conditions.
Aussie commentators would be saying : no tries scored yet”.
Hello the the old faithfulls…. Oldie, Scrummie, Loskoppie!
Penalty Aussie… Surfer Dude going for posts from about 40m out… in the rain and wind
Missed well right!
@ Scrumdown:
Time is mid afternoon Sunday in Sydney right now (1.37 pm); sitting with a beer and oysters watching this game.
Shaky tentative start, both ways
Morning all, havent miss much.

19@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:
Nice one.
Lovely early spring morning in JHB. A FULL morning of Rugby ahead, then a game of golf with the wife and kids.
Sh1t they’re driving me mad since I bought them all clubs.
Italian passion is evident here.
Looks like all of the “small” teams are starting to catch up to the others.
I can only put it down to professionalism.
2 Quick penalties, one each way
What a waste.
@ grootblousmile:
Howzit oracle?
Messy start to this match so far.
How an one play good rugby in shitty match conditions…
22@ grootblousmile:
Already got the coffee.
Sh1t I must be getting old. 10 years ago I’d have cracked a beer already.
Wallabies on edge here?
Looks like the weather is turning a bit better
