Feel for the Scots. They’ve really played their hearts out in this match.
Penalty Scotland…. too far out.
Parks kicks it 5m out…
another drop?
And have the pumas just given the game back to the Scots!
Pure luck there for Scotland.
NOW COME ON SCOTLAND. A drop goal will do. No messing up here. Or push them over if they can. Need to win the lineout first though.
Game over
Drop Attempt by Parks….. missed left
Seconds left
Jeepers Scotland missed a good chance there.
Just not good enough I suppose. Arg deserve it now.
Scots have the ball, but time is up, and they have 70m to go
Scots still have the ball
@ grootblousmile:122 – Show how valuable Fransie will be with those long range kicks if we need to get one that late in the game. Morne can do it too but Fransie with the long range kicks is superb.
Game Over
Scotland lost that game big time. now all the work to do against England next week
Final Score: Argentina 13 / 12 Scotland
My heart bleeds for Scotland. Feel for them.
How did they fall asleep and let that try through? Shows players must stay alert for the full 80min.
They had another chance and messed it up on the Arg line. What a huge pity.
Still hope they can beat England but it will not matter now. England will top the pool and Arg will play ABs in the quarter. Will be a canter for the Abs. They will be fresh and lay in wait for either Boks or Wallabies in the semi. Hope it is the Boks. Feel we can do it.
Geez!!!!!!! that was a great finish to an exciting match. Sorry to the Scottish lads. You played well and it could have gone either way. Now go on to moer England!
Very disapointed but well done Argentina did well to score the only try.
@ Just For Kicks:133 – Scotland sure did. They had it and let it slip.
Commisserations Scotland and Bully…. just go moer England now!
@ Bullscot:137 – Sorry Bullscot. My full support was behind the Scottish today. They had it but let it slip out of their hands. Huge pity they could do nothing when they got it right back on the Arg line there.
@ grootblousmile:
Great minds like to moer England
Full of Argie supporters here, now they all want pizza’s, may add a bit of laxative to the toppings. Cheers all
Hell, that was so close…

@ Just For Kicks:142 – Cheers mate.
141 @ The_Young_Turk:
Yip, Scotland must go moer the Poms… would like to see Martin Johnson’s face then!
Somehow I doubt though that Scotland will beat England….
140@ Puma:
Cheers Puma should have won but the guy who scored the try did so well to also get as close to the post as he did to make it easier for Contemponi to convert. Interesting the studio chat mentioned Argentina were miles offside with the last missed drop kick attempt by Parks, but to have dominated the game so much should never have got to that, oh well will have to pick themselves up for next week, by then will know what is needed as Argentina play Georgia on Wednesday, GO GEORGIA!
146 @ Puma:
She’s still around… blogs at odd times though
