    Evening All,

Had to chuckle, just read piece in Todays London Times…The Bok’s, how do you beat them?

You can beat them if you realise that they are nothing like as hard as they think they are, and that you can kill them at source in the scrum.

    Opps…how did I manage that?

The other bit that made me laugh was ….

Very unlikely to repeat the triumph of 2007 in France. The Springboks are an ageing team and need to be replenished by some younger players!!

    3@ Blue Bird:
    Oops… a serious stutter, I see….

After clicking on the smiley, just delete everything after that… for now

  • 6

    @ grootblousmile:
    I won’t be risking a smiley again for a while…!

So, what will your predictions be for the first Wales game?

I see it is 9.30am England time….perhaps a Porridge and PJ match!

    6@ Blue Bird:
Don’t really know WHAT to expect…. I suppose the Bokke should win… but it will not be easy.

It’s at 10:30 SA Time… but there are 3 matches that day, the first at 05:30, then at 08:00 and then the Bokke game…. and then working only after that, till midnight, I suppose!

    Worry

You guys are deathly quiet… saving yourselves for the World Cup?

  • 10

Contemplating the big one come Sunday. Surely the organisers could have picked a better opener though? NZ vs Tonga, hardly a mouth watering clash?

  • 11

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK! Guess who has to work on Sunday morning?????????/

    10@ Lion4ever:
Well the host nation should play the opening game and looking at who else is in their group Tonga is probably the best option, would probably offer a bit more resistence than Canada and Japan. This keeps the France game till a bit later to keep interest in NZ going, there is some risk (albeit only a small one) that France could beat NZ, imagine if that happened in the very first game of the tournament – wouldn’t go down too well at all methinks. Also “interesting” scheduling if you note: France get two days less than NZ does between their last game and the meeting between the two teams…

You have a point, Bullscot, but France have proven to be somewhat of a hoodoo team for the AB’s in the WC.

mad week…but when it starts I’ll be there!!
