Flip, the youngster is a little off key with the boot today.
28 @ Scrumdown:
Spoke to a 20-year old youngster today at one of my Suppliers today… a fervent Lions supporter… He says he has NEVER seen the Lions play so well….
Hehehe
Good evening Scrumdown, my closet doors was cemented shut about five years ago after the umpteenth poor season by the Lions. Good evening Scrumdown, my closet doors was cemented shut about five years ago after the umpteenth poor season by the Lions.
Lions 20 / 3
Lions hands look really good tonight.
Doppies you chop!!! Why the dive?
32@ grootblousmile:
Must be VERY young. Can’t remeber the Lions winning the 95 RWC?
Dit lyk of die manne maklik gly vanaand, daar is nou al n’ paar ouens wat gegly het.
@ biltongbek:
I know the feeling, but my skin is VERY thick.
Between 1980 and 1990 the Lions were just as k@k, but everything is cyclical.
I’ve spoken with a number of guys lately who seem to think that BaardBek is a potential future Bok captain.
Got any thoughts gents?
Penalty Griquas. Over. 20 / 6 Lions.
Griquas living on scraps at the moment.
Rudi Vogt slots another penalty for Kwas
Lions 20 / 6
Praat jy van Strauss, hy is nog baie jonk, so kan werk.
39 @ Scrumdown:
If Paul Kruger could be President (100 years ago)…. and Moses could lead the Isrealites, then I suppose Josh “Moses” Strauss can be captain of the Bokke…. hehehe
Half time. I thought Griquas didn’t release the ball in the tackle there, but who am I to question the optometerist?
Lemoenetyd
What impresses me about Strauss is his positive interaction with the match officials.
Captaining these days isn’t just about the performance aspect, you almost have to be an embassador. That’s the only reason John Smit is still Bok captain IMO.
Griekwas is missing 20% of their tackles, that doesn’t bode well for the second half if they don’t pick it up.
47@ biltongbek:
Lions playing a high tempo game, much as they did against Griquas in the first round.
Seems like JM really does his homework, but if the Lions fall asleep in the 2nd half like last week against the Pumas they may get a shock.
Pumas, Griquas and the Leopards really have to play a forward dominated game to be competitive.
Once the high tempo back line moves come out they’re lost.
2nd Half on!
Haai almal darem betyds vir die tweede helfte , die een wat Griekwas gewoonlik wen, hahaha.
Relieving penalty to the Lions, right on their line
Flip is Blades in a relationship with Roodt’s mother? He can’t stop talking about the man.
Oooo Mark blaas geen kans vir Kwas,
Try van Rensburg. Bonus point.
Lions stay top for another week no matter what happens.
Try No 2 for Deon van Rensburg… and that’s the bonus point for the Lions
Lions 27 / 6
I must say Jantjies can tackle for a young #10.
Penalty Kwas… very easy one… they’ll tap
Try Kwas??
TMO
Did not look like a good try
Taute cops a Yellow…
Try not awarded
