The Sharks have named an unchanged team for their Currie Cup Rugby clash against the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday at Mbombela Stadium.

The same Sharks team beat the Blue Bulls 36-15 in the Currie Cup last weekend.

There is one possible change which could come on the bench as Eugene van Staden, who missed last week’s game, faces a fitness test later today and has been bracketed in with Julian Redelinghuys in the number 17 jersey.

“The Pumas are very physical, they play with a lot of intensity and their forwards are well-organised, while they also have a flyhalf who runs the game really well,” said coach John Plumtree on the Sharks site in giving his assessment of the opposition.

“Defensively they are good, they turned the Lions over a lot as well so we are going to have to be really accurate against them.”
