Well… we have some deserving champs…
The Reds were incredible this year!
@ Loosehead:
Steve Hofmayer…Hehehehheh
Congratulations to the Reds, excellent win and commiserations to the gallant Saders.
Ewen Mackenzie is a star to take this team to the top of the Superugby world.
Bring on the RWC!!!!
Digby Ioane does the “Spider” breakdance for the crowd…. marvelous!
183@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:
Saders were gallant indeed
WELL DONE REDS. AWESOME.
That try by Genia was brilliant.
Had Reds to win by 2 on bru so feel chuffed about that too.
Crowd shows their feelings for the Ref and McCaw. Reds made a few guys eat humble pie. So much for the inferior Australian conference.
Cheers all. See you all for the CURRIE CUP!
@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:183 – OldG
Well done to the Reds. Felt so awesome to see them win. Especially that I go there on Business a lot. Already sent a few sms messages to the guys in the office overthere to say congrats.
Had Reds to win by 2 on bru as well. First put Reds by 5 last night then changed it to 2. Should have kept the 5…………hahahaha.
@ superBul:
McKenzie has done a sterling job, the Reds have gone from strength to strength.
@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:183 – OldG,
Have being saying for a long while now think Oz could win this wc. The team to watch I reckon.
@ Puma:
Hi Puma, you raced up the board today…. 🙂
Sounds like it was a great game to watch.
So nice to see the team spirit, well done Reds , i enjoyed it. Thanks
We also have to say well done to Saders for making it to the final after what they have been through this year.
Feels like a very short year since the Celebrations at Orlando Stadium….
One hurdle too far for the Saders… but what defence from the Reds.
Rugby is king… king of all sports
Now for the watered down Currie Cup and the sham which will be the Tri-Nations.. then on to Rugby World Cup
@ Blue Bird:192 – Yes enjoyed this game. No stress for me just sat back and enjoyed watching the rugby. BUT pleased Reds won, especially that I know plenty in the office over there. Feel great for them.
I should have had Saders against my Sharks. Wanted to put Saders but just could not go against my Sharks. Had I done that who knows might be sitting a bit higher up. Not really bothered though just a game. Felt good though to catch up at the end. Like keeping something in reserve for the last 10km in the Marathon and passing a few dead on their feet at that stage……………..hahahaha.
Today it’s exactly 2 months till RWC 2011 kicks off…. 62 days (July and August both have 31 days)…
Working from my laptop, which I don’t like doing cause it puts strain on my neck. Have to go and get another key board. This one just went dead today.
So off a bit later to the shops. Jeez might leave it until Monday. Shopping for anything on a Saturday is a nightmare.
@ grootblousmile:199 – Yip time is flying by before we know it the world cup will be starting.
200@ Puma:
Do they still sell parraffine Keyboards for the old XT computers…. hehehe
201@ Puma:
I’m a bit sad to see that the Currie Cup will be so wateed down and that the Tri-Nations won’t be strenght vs strenght.
So many Bulls rested… then still 9 Bulls in the Bokke 2nd stringers…
So, it’s actually a complete Bulls Vodacom Cup squad taking part in the Currie Cup…
Almost the same for the Sharks & WP.
@ Puma:
I have done two 10ks in two weeks. Improved by 5 mins on my second one!!
How you used to run marathons and Comrades is beyond me!!
Blue Bulls basically have Gary Botha, Derick Kuun, Dewaldt Potgieter, Jaco Pretorius and Gerhard van den Heever in the Currie Cup…. the only players who regularly play for the Bulls Super Rugby side.
3 of those mostly were replacement players (Botha, Kuun & Van den Heever) in 2011.
Have a great weekend all, thanks for your company and thanks for the superBru fun, it has been a laugh.
SuperBul thanks for orgaising the RT superBru again,
Outta Here xxx
@ Blue Bird:204 – Well done. Don’t worry too much about your time. I know runners always will be competitive against the clock. Sometimes it takes the joy out of it. Just run for the love of it. So whatever time you ran it don’t matter, as long as you enjoyed it and finished, that all that counts. Well done our fit Brit…hehehe
Remember don’t start to do the longer runs. The knees will get you in 10 years time and it will never have been worth it. Keep your races to 10km. That is far enough.
@ grootblousmile:202 – Gbs………..hehehe. No I actually use a wireless keyboard and a wireless receiver to that picks it up from my laptop to a bigger screen. So I can sit straight up and not bend my neck down. Better for the neck and back by looking straight at a screen than bending the neck to work on my lap top.
I think it is the wireless receiver that may not be working. Cause the light comes on then off. So proabably why my keyboard not picking it up. Changed the batteries in the keyboard now so it can’t be the keyboard. What you think boeta? You think it is the wireless receiver?
On your other post. I am very sad that the CC is no longer full strength.
208@ Puma:
Difficult to say without seeing the Item in front of me and putting it through some tests…
Wireless Keyboards & Mouse Combo’s, good ones, are not that expensive anymore… just over or under R200.00 as a start… unless you buy it at Incredible Corruption or one of those places… so it’s not worth bothering to fix it or battle with it too much.
Have you tried taking the Receiver out, after doing a shut-down and inserting it in another USB port?
@ grootblousmile:209 – Will try that Gbs. Did think to just shut it down and see.
Also now just typed this post and it never went. Had to log out and back again to get RT?
What I wanted to say is remember I have a slipped disc in my neck the but it is fine after I had traction in hospital a few times a few years back. The reason I never like to use a laptop as you have to keep your head down and it puts pressure on the neck where the slipped disc is.
Now going to shut everything down and see what happens with the receiver. If that don’t work will just go buy another today or tomorrow. Could be the receiver or keyboard. Might even be my laptop? Though it is working fine so can’t be that, well think it cant.
