What’s the story behind that band and song?
Bloubul Song:
It’s incredible, everytime I think that o’Connor is going to get caught with the ball on his line, he miraculously gets away!
This is good rugby… cut and thrust, parry and defend…
Very little structure to te game.. just the stars exhibiting their wares

In what context? Gary Numan went on to record a few “more commercially” successful songs like “cars”, and eventually became a commercial pilot.
The song comes from an era of social upheaval in the UK where you were either a Mod, a Rocker, a Punk or some other affiliate, and heaven help you if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
From the same time frame, (maybe a year or two later) as the Sex Pistols, and even Dire Straits EARLY (read before the commercial BS that SA generally knows) work.
Match heading for a very exciting finish!
@ grootblousmile:77 – Okay. Jimmy Hendrix – The Wind Cries Mary and Princes – Purple Rain.
#76 Nah, just calling a spade a spade….;-)

Thanks Scrumdown for the punk/new wave/new romantics refresher! Its just that its such an obscure song I thought you’d might want to share how and why it became such a special song for you….
Dang, the Reds just do it! Was so close!
