Cheetahs (11) 18 / Sharks (6) 23 (Final Score)
The Toyota Cheetahs hosted the Sharks at Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein at 17:05 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.
It was frenetic, it was hard, it was brutal… and the Sharks finished with 2 players in the sin-bin but they won, by 5 points. 4 Log points for them, mission accomplished, against a game and determined Cheetahs side.

Fark but Volvo is fast! Good try there. Cheatahs are bringing the best out of the Sharks…
Damn, that try merely highlights the defensive frailties that have hampered the Staat’s progress this year…..
Daniel should be cited for that tackle………again.
Sharks now suddenly on fire… Staat flummaxed a bit
away for 5 mins…..and now the damm tjarks lead….grrrr
If the Guppies want to be serious title contenders they have to be able to put the Cheatahs away. If they can’t, it’s better that they don’t make the play offs so that their players can rest.
That was way better by the Staat…
That should have been a try! Wasted opportunity.
Knoced by Stephan Tereblance
Beast & Botes on, Smit and Kanko off
Fark!
Penalty Staat after Sareltjie almost scored…. cinical by the Sharks but stopped a certain try
Frenetic pace to the game now

Cheatahs have been very unlucky not to have scored a try or two more but Guppies have stuck to their guns and deserve to lead.
