Stormers (3) 16 / Bulls (6) 19 (Final Score)
The DHL Stormers hosted the Vodacom Bulls at Newlands, Cape Town at 18:10 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.
This game cannot be described as rugby, it was rather trench warfare… and the Bulls won the brutal war, revenging the Stormers win of earlier in the season at Loftus.
The Bulls were just simply better in the set pieces, the rest was all equal.

Goooooooooooooooo Bullllssssssssssss!
The Competition is STILL in your own hands!
Moer hulle Stompies!!!!!!!!!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STORMERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
If Stormers win they top the whole log today. Stormers win it helps my Sharks too. 🙂
So, Go Stormers.
The Bulls can pass both the Waratahs and the Sharks on the Combined Log if they get a 5-pointer here.
Lions did Bulls a big favour today.
Go STOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS!!!
OK, al die voorwedstryde is verby, tyd vir die Hoofwedstryd!
Just looking at the log, got it wrong up there. If Stormers win they keep 2nd spot on the over all log.
That should secure them a home semi. Stormers should beat Cheatahs next week.
Go Stormers.
Now for the main event! Everything else has been appetisers. Nou’s dit die manne se kans!
@ Puma:
If they get the 5 pointer, they would top the log 😉
Stormers weaK points are their props and halfback pairing… oh and their left wing and fullback.
Bulls out on the field!
Goooooooooooo Bullssssssssss!
Stormpoppies coming out
My Bru prediction was Stormers by 3
@ grootblousmile:
Bullies weak points are numbers 15, 12, and 8
Lambie mom in the last game. Brilliant he deserved it. What a brilliant flyhalf we have in him. Will be our future Bok flyhalf after this world cup. Have no doubt about that.
14@ The_Young_Turk:
Mmmmm, 3 current Springboks…. hehehe
Game ON!
First mistake by Coleman… directly out to touch
Yime to chew on some blue bull biltong while the bullies supporters struggle with old, tough, sringy goat 🙂
@ The_Young_Turk:

@ The_Young_Turk:
stringy. Fark, I’m so nervous I can’t even type , HEe hee
Welcome aboard Puma!
This clash is going to be brutal!
Stormers steal a lineout.
Penalty for the Stormers on Halfway, they go for touch… a poor one at that
Now the Bulls steal the Stormers lineout
Ahhhhhh Bulls penalty, very kickable
Bulls 3 / 0
Bulls get first blood as stormpoppies lose the lineout and Habs plays his usual kak.
Another Bulls penalty, on about halfway
I have to say, that was FCUKING comical when Bobby paused before he said “knock-on” by Habana… if that was a knock, they have to rewrite the rule book… the subsequent penalty was legal though.
