Bulls (13) 23 / Waratahs (6) 17 (Final Score)
The Vodacom Bulls hosted the Waratahs at Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria at 19:10 SA Time. This was the match Thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.
The Waratahs made quite a game of it and worried the Bulls throughout the match but in the end the Bulls won by 23 / 17, a slender 6-point margin.
Mission accomplished, 4 points in the bag for the Bulls, pity about the one point for the Waratahs.

Hellooooooooooo from Fortress Loftus… waar dit rof is!
Fark, it took me more than 2 hours from Midrand to Loftus tonight… every road farked and the freegin drivers not knowing what the fark to do.
I started speaking to some of them in very obscene language…. hehehe
Now quickly slurping down the buffet dinner the Bulls Union have prepared for us

Early penalty for the Bulls and they take it quick…. almost a try for Bjorn
hoekom het spies n scrumpet op
Penalty Waratahs… Bulls players not retreating beyond 10 from a kak Morne kick
Beale makes it 3 / 0 for the Tahs
Tahs come storming out of the gate but Bullie are up for it. Another bit of brilliance by Basson that unfortunately doesn’t lead to points. He must be a certainty for the Bokke.
Bulls MUST play their own brand of the game, force it on the Tahs!
Tahs are playing with great fire. Can our Bullyboys keep them out???
Word flippen wakker, Zane….
Drop attempt by Barnes… missed
Tahs doing virtually all the attacking
Penalty Bulls in their own half, they obviously kick for touch
Tahs forwards have the edge at the moment. Bullies defending well….
Penalty Bulls… and the Tahs gets marched back 10 more….
Morné going for posts, about 7m outside the 22.
Overrrrrrrrrrr
3 / 3
Ged Robinson hobbling off forn the Tahs
Tahs very physical and counter rucking well. But Bulls seem to be holding their own.
Penalty for the tahs, on their own 10m line.
Bulls too hesitant tonight…. Tahs almost through, Bulls steal the vital ball
Gooten Dagen vir wie stem ons vanaand?
Beale has been steady on defense and dangerous on attack. Bakkies is looking good.
