This game lived up to it’s hype…. a cracker!
The silky offload skills by Sonny Bill Williams, the speed and hard running by Jaque Fourie, the strong Crusaders scrum, tight defence by the Stormers… classic.

Game No 80 of this year’s Competition already…
Gooooooooooo Stormpoppies…. spit, spit!
Stormers to win this game. Not as far as last year, but comfortably I think.
@ grootblousmile:
Close your eyes and cross your fingers behind your back when you say it!
I think it’s time to close the office up and go home.
After the Lions superb performance last night I think that the Captain and I need to discuss things quite closely!
Vlok, it’s raining again.
Why when I come on the bike does it have to p1ss down?
Cheers all.
Let me go and endure the “natgat” and ride the 5 k’s home in the rain.
Go Stormers (and I suppose Guppies).
Enjoy the game everyone.

Howzit Gbs, this is good news, are there any details yet about when and where the final will be? I was wondering during the week about the Pampas XV, they seem have to have done really well even if it is only Vodacom Cup level. Don’t know much about them so would be interesting to find out more, things like their history, where they are based in SA etc maybe even be nice to hear from some of their players how they have experienced their last while in SA.
15@ Bullscot:
I know they have been based in SA together for the whole Vodacom Cup…. at Potch.
They have demolished all comers with fast rugby, a heap of passion and some quality players like the winger Imhoff.
They are going to be difficult to beat in the Final and I would think that the Final will be at their “Home Ground” here in SA, they finished top of the Logs before the quarters whilst the Bulls barely sneaked into the quarters and then did what was necessary.
The Vodacom Cup Final is on 13 May at 19:00 at Profert Olen Park, Potchefstroom… home of the Pampas
10 minutes to go before kickoff in the Stormers / Saders game
Thanks for all the info Gbs, quite remarkable stuff from Pampas, the Argenitians have loads of players based away from home, either in UK or France etc so they will be used to the idea of not playing in Argentina but to have a whole team from Argentina playing away from their home is quite interesting concept. I guess this is what would have happened to the Kings or Spears or whatever they are called if they got into the Aussie conference instead of the Rebels.
Players running out
Newlands is buzzing…. lots of Saders supporters there too
Game ON!
Afternoon ouens!
Go Stormpies!!!!!!1
