So far Cheatahs are holding their own but Saders look like threatening to run away with this game all the time. If cheatahs can match this commitment for the next 30mins, the last 10 would be very interesting indeed.

Agree, but Sarel has been great for a couple of years.

If you look at Sarel and Jano in weak sides for the last 3-4 years, they’ve still stood out as very good players.

Now that the Cheetahs are playing better in general he is really standing out as an excellent player, as did Jano earlier today.

Well the Cheetahs play till the end, thats how they won the last 2, so let us hope they can do it one more time. They are a fired up team. Wonder where is all the Naka Drotsky haters?

Great hands by Johnson in that try.

Altitude should start having an effect soon.

  • 81

This is madness….come back to see the Cheetahs are still winning….
    What is going on? 😯

  • 82

Ashley Johnson is a real hard honest player, great player to have in a team

  • 83

    82@ superBul:
On current form Div can’t ignore him either.

Would be a great player to have available in NZ conditions for WC IMO.

  • 84

    @ Scrumdown:
Do you mean the Saders will fall even FURTHER behind because they can’t breathe at the altitude, legs going all wobbly…….Oh well !!

  • 85

    @ Blue Bird:
On your Bru it wont really matter, very few gave the Cheetahs a chance

  • 86

Cheatahs have seen off all the media stars of the saders and are still ahead. Beautiful to see such commitment from the bottom saffa teams against top overseas teams for a change. The old days are hopefully gone for good where the saffa teams only played against the local guys and just gave the overseas boys an easy ride for a full house of points. Now these guys have to work equally hard and this will benefit the top saffa teams in the future.

    86: hoor hoor !

  • 89

Almost a brilliant drop goal by Sias

  • 90

    86@ The_Young_Turk:
It’s all in the big muscle between the ears.

SAFFA teams have always had the potential, but have been very unprofessional in their approach IMO.

Like the Lions this afternoon, as soon as they realised they could win, the tails were up and they raised their game.

Man for man SA Rugby players are as good as any in the world.

It’s just a mental thing. Vlok ons is mos almal ‘n bietjie mental ne?
