Sharks ALWAYS last to announce the team… hope the come last on Saturday evening too… hehehe

  • 2

    Predictions for this weekend??

    Maybe something like this:

    1. Blues at home to beat a disrupted Stormers side.
    2. Crusaders at home to beat a Chiefs side who seem to be in resurgent form…. so not a huge win.
    3. Waratahs to beat the Lions convincingly, hope I’m way wrong.
    4. Force vs Brumbies…. mmmmmm whick kak team will lose? Let’s go for a home win, just for the hell of it.
    5. Cheetahs to wallop the Rubish Rebels.
    6. Sharks to win a monster of a battle at home…. or do we see a surprise from the Bulls…. difficult one!

    @ GBS
Pretty much as I see it!

    Blues by a few
Crusaders should bounce back, but Chiefs are on the rebound! difficult one, but ‘Saders by 7
    Waratahs
    Force
    Cheetahs
Bulls – Brave call, but I think the Bulls are busy regaining their form, and the Sharks have been average, if you neutralise their one and only game plan, and that is to get the ball to Alberts as much as possible, and hope he can bulldoze his way forward, and hopefully get the ball to a supporting player!

So what do I have to do to get to the Top of the Rugby Talk SuperBru this week?

I am top of Supa de Bloubuls league…:-) In the top 10 of the Keo Bru……

I thought I had blown it last week with the Saders loss, but of course everyone had made that call too, I suppose it all comes down to margins!!

So, with a cup of coffee in hand I will start to plot!!

    @ Cheetah4eva:
Really nice you Cheetah boys had something to smile about last week. Good for you…. 🙂

“Adopt the Bulls Style” … jj harmse … news24. can someone bring that article here?

  • 14

    13@ Ashley:
    Nee flok!

I think the Stormers are in for a tough match, they have not shown great form over the past few weeks and has become rather predictable, without De Villiers, Jaque Fourie their midfield will be targeted by the Blues, and the Stormers will have to use their forwards to their full potential at ruck times, otherwise the Blues could run away with this one.

I think the Chiefs will have a gutsy performance against the Crusaders, don’t think it will be a high scoring game, but the Crusaders’ skill in execution and their loss of last weekend will push them through.

The Waratahs aren’t in great form, the Lions will have a lot of confidence, this one should be close.

The western Force and Brumbies will be a dire game to watch, should be a Western Force win.

I think and hope the Cheetahs do the Rebels clinically and execute well, dominate with their very good forward pack, and just go out and keep the scoreboard ticking over, take their kicks and score 4 tries.

Well who knows what will happen with this Sharks and Bulls, there is criticism that the Sharks have only one plan, but the same can be said of the Bulls. Tough match, and whoever finds some decent form and “gel” together on the day can win this one.

Seems like its gonna rain in Aukland. Last weekend we saw that if you put the Blues players on the backfoot they are NOT that sharp. Stormers went for a 5-2 split on the bench, and talked about keeping ball in hand. Blues backs not all firing at the moment. Toeava and Payne has been quite the last 3 weeks.
TIGHT. STOMERS TO WIN (I also said they will lose against the Crusaders.Just FYI)

Ok, so the REASON for the Stormers losing is because they are disrupted. Then, by the same reasoning, shouldn’t the Crusaders get walloped?
Saders not really playing at home. The travel from their home to the stadium is almost longer than a travel from Jhb to Pta.
    CHIEFS TO WIN.

So the Cheetahs showed that the Tahs can be beaten at home, and the Lions won last weekend. But that was on two completely different weekends.
    WARATAHS TO WIN.

On paper, still the Brumbies. On home ground, the Force. Honestly, I don’t care.
    FLIP A COIN.

The Cheetahs are a Champion team. More so than the Sharks, Lions and WP, at least over the last 10 years. Problem is they NEVER had the confidence to take it to SupeRugby level. Seems like they now have that which they lacked for 5 seasons. FINALLY! Unless they self implode
    CHEETAHS TO WIN.

As a WP/Stormer, I am obviously cheering for the… BULLS (yeeeees, I know).
Honestly, I think it depends on which team shows up. Could be Best of Bulls and Sharks. In which case it could go down to the better midfield. Or the weaker midfielder. Bosman or Pretorius. Seriously, I think this game could depend on which one of them is less K*K.
BULLS TO WIN. SOMETHING SWITCHED ON IN THEIR HEADS. MAYBE.
