The Crusaders hosted the Bulls at Alpine Energy Stadium, Timaru at 09:35 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.

The Crusaders methodically dismantled an error-ridden and lacklustre Bulls effort, keeping them scoreless.

    Lets hope so, although I confess, I have Saders to win by 10 !! 🙁

    i think the crusaders, even without carter AND mccaw, should still be slight favourates for this game
    but
    i do believe (and i may be completely wrong) that without carter there, it might be easier to defend against sb-williams.
    1. what i’d like to see is the bulls attacking his (sbw’s)channel though … not sure, but that might turn out as his weakness … dont think any teams thus far has tested him there!!
    2. of course it goes without saying that the bulls need to keep ball in hand, and do so for long periods of time
    3. when they need to kick, that they should rather make sure that they kick the ball into the stands rather than go for distance.
    they need to prevent the crusaders from trying to speed up the game!!

    this is far to early to drink so what do you take for nerves.

    I think the easiest is to make peace with the fact that the Bulls are total underdogs and look at the game like any good Italian guy, just hope.
    Good luck Bulls , you will need a lot.

    just heard the field is small and the crowd is near the touchline. So any kick might go into the crowd.

    Bulls captain said in a interview they still expect Carter to play. Hope they did focus on SBW too. You can not ignore that man.
