Alister Coetzee has named his strongest possible side to take on the Sharks in Cape Town on Saturday.
Peter Grant has been named at 10, but will have to pass a fitness test on Friday. If he fails then Lionel Cronje will play at 10 for the Stormers. Lock Rynhard Elstadt is also a welcome starter in the run on 15. CJ Van Der Linde is named at 3 instead of Brok Harris.
Stormers: 15 Conrad Jantjes, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Jean de Villiers, 11 Bryan Habana, 10 Peter Grant/ Lionel Cronje, 9 Dewaldt Duvenage, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Francois Louw, 6 Schalk Burger (C), 5 Andries Bekker, 4 Rynhardt Elstadt, 3 CJ van der Linde, 2 Deon Fourie, 1 Wicus Blaauw.
Replacements: 16 Ethienne Reynecke, 17 Brok Harris, 18 De Kock Steenkamp, 19 Nick Koster, 20 Ricky Januarie, 21 Lionel Cronje/ Kurt Coleman, 22 Juan de Jongh.
I can see the Sharks winning this one…………my superbru is farked in any case.
Mmmm, what a wonderful prospect of a game…. will be damn difficult to pick a winner for this one.
Gooooooooooooo Guppies!
Hehehe
@ grootblousmile:
Yes this will be one worth watching, can the Stormers rely on kicks to win this one, i expect at least 3 Shark tries.
I pick Jantjes to be the fall guy for the Stormers…..with the Sharks getting a 5 pointer. A resurgent John Smit up front and Bismarck champing at the bit. Lambie is going to be too tricky for the Stormer backline. Best matchup….Grant/Lambie the form flyhalves in South Africa. Stormers dangermen Vermeulen, Mossie. Sharks dangermen….the backrow and JPP. Relish seeing Kanko/Duanne matching up…..speed against strength.
Stormers to win by 5. Finis en klaar….
