@ grootblousmile:
@ grootblousmile:

for what it is worth?? i have the sheetarsss to win by 8 this weekend
Hallo all Cheetahs supporters and minions!!
More teams have been announced and updated, the only missing team being the Lions…. who should have named their team by 12:30 today.
All Team Sheets for this weekend’s games are now complete!
Good luck Sharks.

Well, I’ve just made my SuperBru picks for this weekend’s Super Rugby games…
Last weekend I actually backed the Lions to beat the Blues and afterwards I promised myself not to back them again till they win.
This weekend they have a good chance to win and just to shaft my Bru they’ll probably play out of their skins.
The Cheetahs have made 5 changes from last week and that worries me! I’m a great believer in consistency in selection and although Sias Ebersohn shows promise for the future, he is terribly raw in Super Rugby whilst Heinrich Brussow is still not Super Rugby ready after his long lay-off and having played 1 and a bit Vodacom Cup games since his return is simply not enough… I hope he proves me wrong because we need Heinrich firing on all cylinders for the RWC.
Nonetheless, I’ve picked the Cheetahs to win by 5, firstly because I like them more and secondly as a protest vote against the Lions.
The Sharks should pummel the Rebels, and I’ve picked accordingly.
This might surprise you but I’ve gone for the shocker this week and picked the Highlanders to beat the Stormers. Why would I do it? The Highlanders are strong up front but more than that, they are also running well through each and every back. The Stormers on the other hand has shown that they defend well, but have been blunt on attack, so blunt you can drive all the way to the Cape on the sharp edge of the knives they present and not be worse for wear. The balance therefore in game approach and roundedness lies with the Landers.
This of course does not mean to say that I actually want the Landers to win, in fact I would never support an overseas squad against one from SA, my prediction is simply looking at the type and quality of rugby being played at present.
Knowing the Stormers they will probably have a pox game and manage to destroy even more of my SuperBru whilst they are able.
Tomorrow I pick the Saders to win over the Brumbies, and on Saturday I pick the Canes over the Chiefs and the Blues over the Force.
Now to go pick on Bru for the Six Nations….
Six Nations picks….
France by a healthy margin
Wales by 5 or less
England by a healthy margin
The first 2 Game Threads are scheduled for Week 4 of Super Rugby, first one to appear at 06:30 SA Time on Friday, first game starts at 08:35… Saders vs Brumbies.
