Reds (29) 41 / Cheetahs (3) 8 (Final Score)
The Reds hosted the Cheetahs at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane at 06:30 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD & M-Net on TV in SA.
The Cheetahs played stupid rugby, letting the Reds run at them from all over and making a plethera of simple errors.
The Reds were enterprising and red-hot, blasting the Cheetahs away with consumate ease.

Go for it!
Final thought…
The TOYOTA CHEETAHS were not like a Hilux Bakkie today, but rather like a Hi-Ace Taxi….. there was always space to let more tries in, whilst looking shoddy and lisping dangerously to the side.
Awesome display, and skills by the Reds. Cheetahs were undone by lack of depth, and also they allowed the Reds to play a loose flowing game. To be fair the ref was not flash, very inconsistent, and he protected avery weak Reds front row!!
Cheetahs will regroup, but they need more depth! A team that loses the caliber of Juan Smith, Adriaan and Andries Strauss, Frans Viljoen, Benjamin, and Burger will come unstuck.. Guts and glory can only take you so far!!
Go Cheetahs, go Sharks, Go Stormers and Go Bulls/Lions!!!!
Robbie Deans?
Of jy dit nou as ‘n verskoning sien of nie, diepte IS ‘n faktor.
