The Vodacom Bulls hosted the Highlanders at Loftus, Pretoria at 19:10 SA Time. This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SHD and M-Net on TV in SA.
The Highlanders continued their unbeaten run and scored a bonus point for tries whilst the Bulls end their unbeaten run at home and only salvaged a bonus point for losing by only 7 points.
It was a disasterous game from a Bulls perspective, with bad refereeing and general bad play and sloppy tackling by all the Bulls players. Today it is frustrating to be a Bulls supporter.

Nie gedink ek sou dit sê nie, maar miskien moet die bulle bietjie verloor sodat hul sal besef die nuwe name of the game is balbesit rugby. Landers het heeltyd besit, en toe ons dit weer hier aan die einde van die eerste helfte kry ….. toe skop Zane weer ‘n doellose skop weg, en daarna druk Landers weer.
Hoe moeilik is dit om te verstaan dat as jy die bal behou, kan die ander span niks doen nie ?
RUDI gaan praat met die spelers boet lol, ek sukkel om n speler te vind in die bulls span wat tans goed speel???, my only hope here is will they wake up in the 2nd half like they did the previous 2 weeks???

i think the whole attitude of the Bulls turns the refs against them. We mus shut up and tackle hard , not this waiting for the guy to go to ground. Hit them backwards, break their bones (legally)

40 Highlanders again and looking very dangerous and win another penalty as Stegmann goes offside and then is sentenced with a yellow card for repeatidly going offside! Robinson looks at the posts but misses! Thats the First half and what an exciting half. The highlanders lead the Bulls 11-6. Join us in 10 min for more exciting rugby from Loftus
38 Highlanders work their way up and win another penalty for playing the ball off their feet! Robinson has a look at the posts and makes sure of the PENALTY
37 a knock on by Lynn allows the Bulls a scrum on the highlanders 22. Highlanders win a penalty as Kruger is caught rolling over!
35 Bulls with a penalty for playing the ball on the ground and boot it up for the lineout. Driving it up and making good ground. Bulls with another penalty, du Preez takes it quick and makes some ground.
33 Highlanders have a lineout and make a break but are brought back for a forward pass and the Bulls will have a go from their half!
31 Steyn makes sure of the PENALTY
30 Highlanders give the bulls a go and steal the ball and send the Bulls back! Bulls now with another penalty for holding on to the ball! Steyn looks to the posts.
29 Bullswin a penalty for playing the ball off his feet! the boot it up, The bulls then win a penalty for going down at a scrum!
27 Highlannders again with the ball and looking for space. Again on the Bulls 22. The homeside turn it and boot it back to the highlanders half!
25 The highlanders now with a scrum on the Bulls 22. Highlanders lose the ball and the Bulls boot them back to their 22 but the Highlanders return!
23 Bulls have a chance but poor hands gives the ball back to the highlanders! Highlanders make good ground but then struggle to break the Bulls line
21 Highlanders knock it on and give the Bulls a chance to go! The Bulls have a Penalty now as Cowin comes offside!
19 The bulls turn it over and send the highlanders back to the half way line!
17 The Highlanders win a penalty for an early tackle and now move into the Bulls half and find some space but the Bulls hold them firm in place!
15 Highlanders now iwn a penalty for playing the ball on the groung and choose the posts and Robinson makes sure of the PENALTY
13 No one taking control of the game both teams working hard and keeping each other on their toes between ends of the fields!
11 Bulls recieve a penalty for diving and and moments later recieve another! The Bulls Choose to go for the posts and Steyn goes makes sure of the PENALTY
9 Bulls and Highlanders fight it out but the Bulls take form and move towards the highlanders line!
7 The conversion was missed by the Highlanders
6 The Highlanders break through the Bulls defense with some sneaky tactics but Adam Thomson runs in a TRY which the Bulls question!
4 Highlanders at the Bulls line but the Bulls turn it over and put it down field. The Highlanders run it back to the Bulls half
2 The Bulls put it out and the Highlanders turn it over but are forced out for a Bulls lineout! The highlanders now with a short arm for numbers! Highlanders moving forward.
0 and there we go the Bulls recieve and knock it on to give the Highlanders a scrum! The Bulls then win a penalty for pushing the scrum down!

exactly super , thats basically what the sharks do as you saw , no tries against them , fuck i must say i am not a bulls supporter as you know , but i am very dissapointed so far
