Brussow out for a month

Springbok and Cheetahs flanker Heinrich Brussow will miss the next month of Super Rugby after being injured against the Reds.

The Cheetahs slumped to a 41-8 defeat after the high of beating the Waratahs in a Sydney a week earlier and the loss to the Reds comes at a price due to Brussow’s injury.

Brussow injured his ribs against the Reds and will return home to South Africa where he will join fellow Cheetahs Juan Smith, Adriaan Strauss, Andries Strauss and Ryno Benjamin on the injury list.

Brussow missed most of last year’s rugby and was playing in his third Super Rugby match when he suffered the injury that is expected to keep him out for a month.

Shame, the Cheetahs have no luck on the injury front.
