Injury-plagued Blues lock Ali Williams will miss the next month of Super rugby after sustaining a hamstring injury during Sunday’s 22-22 draw with the Force.
Williams missed last year’s Super rugby season due to an Achilles tendon injury and was playing in his fourth game this year.
“He’s done a hamstring and at this stage it is looking like four weeks out,” Blues coach Pat Lam told AAP.
The injury is expected to leave Anthony Boric and Kurtis Haiu as the starting locks to play Hurricanes at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday.
