30@ Winston:
Did you by chance bump into Charlise Wittstock… the Benoni poppie who is engaged to be married to Price Renier of Monaco…. she was here also to swim Midmar.
She’s an ex saffa olympic swimmer…
Suppose a few bodyguards had to swim with… hehehe
i recon that this is the year for the cheetahs to break into the top half of the log, that is if their starting 15 can keep fit
#31 Charlene Wittstock…….
die ander benoni poppie van wie jy praat is Charlise Theron 🙂
Where’s that fat useless bastard, Tight Head….
I want him to do an Article on the Sharks / Cheetahs match, much like the one which Scrumdown did on the Trans-Jukskei derby…
Just saw his name pop in earlier and then he was gone again…
These bloody props, you can’t take them anywhere, not even to a dog show… they might win first prize for owner and dog look-alike…
PS! Tight head, how are you my friend?
32: Dink die SA spanne gaan so eindig:
1. Bulle
2. Leeus
3. Cheetahs
4. Haaie
5. Warrelwindjies
My objektiewe neutrale opinie.
Aussies 217/9 (47bb)
Steyn 3/21
217 almal uit
33@ Tripples:
Charlise or Charlene…. what’s another blonde bimbo by another name…. hehee
No, be decent GBS…. sorry… I did not mean that, not at all!
They’re upstanding human beings and an example to all of us…. the one making money and the other marrying it!
Flok, I’ll get into trouble….
Consider this NOT WRITTEN! It is untrue and unfounded!
Eishhhh, terwyl ek so kakkas praat…. let me get on my bicycle, need to go to Benoni myself quickly….
Maybe I run into the next blonde to make it big…. hahaha
#40 stem Smallies, almal dink ons gaan sukkel daar maar die ding is Dale het nog altyd goed geboul in die sub-continenet en truth be told nie die Indiers, Sri-Lankans of Pakistani’s like om Pace bowling in die sub – continent te speel nie….
Ek voel dit so in my waters dat hierdie die jaar gaan wees dat Suid Afrika world champs in Krieket EN Rugby gaan wees!!!!!

Maak of julle mal is en doen alles….
… ek sal julle later berispe….
Hehehe
46: trap mooi op jou fiets, pasop vir die busse en trokke.
@ grootblousmile:
No, but the guys on the PA system kept mentioning her name every 5 mins and it was intensely annoying, my gosh. PS, where is Puma, I have not seen him in ages, I am missing him here, it is not the same without him.
What’s up with the mobile site?
49@ Pam Anderson:
Busy working on a totally new Mobile site upgrade as we speak…. hang in there!
Upgrade done… check it out NOW!
GBS….the general feeling out there with guys who don’t blog here is that this is a Bulls site….which it is by and large I suppose because most bloggers are Bulls. Perhaps if you could go to the various Unions and ask them to do an article on what “Rugby Talk” is all about, without actually making comparisons to another site where most of us originated. There are some good guys on the other site who don’t blog here….I have heard of some of them not being welcome. I cant really comment on that, but guys like Rangerman, Gunther, Katman, Charo, Jockbok et al are good people with good rugby knowledge. perhaps an e-mail questionnaire to them asking why they haven’t made the move might elicit some information. For me, the only offputting thing has already been mentioned by Winston is the quietness of the blog when you pop in during slower times, so clearly just a number thing. But bloggers (Saffers) who live in Oz, Europe or the America’s cover all time zones, there is no reason we cant get them. What I dont miss are the political and racial insults which everyone gets subjected to on the other blog. Perhaps one should conduct an IQ test to see who should qualify 😉 (I dont abide fools well)
@ 4man:
I for one won’t even type the other site’s URL into my pc.
Since RT started I’ve never been back there.
There are some really sad people who blog there, but as you say, there are some VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE bloggers as well.
Oh, and I certainly don’t suffer fools easily either.
1@ 4man:
3 of the 5 you mention are registered here on R-T.
We are open to all except trolls and fools… I think that was shown very clearly when we opened the Blog for the Jinxie’s tribute.
Jockbok and I have had drinks together… and I understand that to him the volume of Afrikaans comments is sometimes prohibitive.
Look, people must blog where they are comfortable…
All we’re saying is that we have the content, the friendly atmosphere and the family culture here.
If you want more English here, bring the English bloggers along, if you want it busier talk more and bring more people…. simple as that.
Gents, (and any ladies out there) I have decided that it’s time to switch off, and get the hell out of the office and make my way home.
Have a great evening. (What’s left of it.)
54@ Scrumdown:
Cheers Scrumdown…
I suppose I better let my eyes rest as well… enough Rugby-Talk development work for 1 day, enough computer work done….
… and I feel like a really looong drink….
@ grootblousmile:
GBS…my suggestions as always are constructive, I dont care what language the blog is in, I merely went to the other site and looked at names on one blog. What I’m suggesting is that you write an article which the Unions can put in their on line magazine or newsletters, it will raise awareness. I’m not going to write your article for you, you asked for commentary and I have let you have that.
I regularly pop in and make comments and more often than not, during the day I wont get a reply.
Lekker wees
cheers
Mohammed entered his classroom on the first day of school.
“What’s your name?” asked the teacher.
“Mohammed,” he replied.
“You’re in America now,” replied the teacher, “So from now on you will be known as Curtis.”
Mohammed returned home after school. “How was your day, Mohammed?” his mother asked.
“My name is not Mohammed. I’m in America and now my name is Curtis.”
“Are you ashamed of your name? Are you trying to dishonor your parents, your heritage, your religion? Shame on you!” And his mother beat him.
Then she called his father, who beat him again.
The next day at school, the teacher saw all his bruises.
“What happened to you, Curtis?” she asked.
“Well ma’am, shortly after becoming an American, I was attacked by two Arabs “.
Too late again….
Look we know RT comes alive during matches, but it would be great to be able to pop in for a chat and find ‘someone home’ more often during the week.
So don’t be shy…. RT is female friendly too…..so rugby girls register and say ‘Hi’
