Blues (6) 24 / Crusaders (19) 22 (Final Score)
The Blues hosted the Crusaders at Eden Park, Auckland at 19:35 NZ Time (08:35 SA Time). This was the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 & M-Net on TV in SA.
Enthrawling game, high intensity and high pace, attacking space well!
After trailing most of the match, the Blues put in a fantastic effort to come from behind and beat the Crusaders.
The only blemish on the match was some wayward goal kicking on both sides.

Another longish penalty for Saders… Carter lines it up.
Over
Saders 14 / 6
Mealamu very busy
29@ bdb:
Hello BiDiBiDi
Penalty Blues, bit of a long range attempt
Missed way left
penalties, penalties, penalties….
This time one again for the Saders
Carter misses again… only 3 from 6 for him so far
33: hallo GBS, Blues sal moet punte kry, as hul in wedstryd wil bly.
Try Andy Ellis for the Saders
38@ bdb:
Ja, dammit, ek het die Blues gepick op Bru
38: net toe ek dit sê, toe druk Saders. Dink Carter het aangeslaan daar. Die ‘drie’ van Kaino het die wedstryd gedraai, daarna was dit net Saders.
Carter misses the Conversion.
Lemoenetyd
Saders 19 / 6 Blues
Ek is oor 5 min terug, net gou my 1 geut gaan skoonmaak, voor die reen my rondflok!
GBS, kan jy gou iets vir my toets asseblief. Kyk of jy hierdie video van die Aussie rugbyprogram ‘Breakdown’ kan kyk ? As ek probeer dan wil hy nie speel nie, vra net heeltyd vir ‘connection speed’:

2nd half on!
Brett misses!
44@ bdb:
Ek maak so vir jou, hang bal!
NZers lineouts are just plain kak.
Is it the hookers who can’t throw, the locks who can’t jump or a combination of both?
44@ bdb:
Daai link werk, die video speel
37@ Loosehead:
Both!
But then again SA is blessed with great locks, all over
What impresses me about both teams is how the backs attack space so well… not always just trying to crash the ball up.
Brilliant try by the Blues… Benson Stanley
Saders 19 / 11
Penalty Saders, apparently Ranger was in front of a kick…. bollocks!!
Carter slots it
Saders 22 / 11
Rokocoko replaced… he’s been largely absent anyway
Penalty Blues…. good pressure on Ellis
Come on Brett, FFS!
He slots it
Saders 22 / 14
48: weet jy dalk watter media player hul gebruik vir daardie video, dalk is dit my probleem ?
Good morning all, thanks for your kind email gbs. Managed to grab a bit of time to come and check the rugby out before the day gets busy. One of the folk will see later is a Kiwi Blues fan, so go Blues!
Tryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Tony Woodcock for the Blues.
Fantastic work by the whole Blues side
Al wat jy sien is die blou masjien !
Bloues teen die Rooies ….. soos vanaand, wie gaan wen ?
