Ireland 22 /France 25 (Final Score)
Ireland and France locked horns at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday with each looking to maintain their 100 percent record in this year’s Six Nations competition. France in the end did not have to play that much rugby. They were accurate with the boot from Parra and Yachvili and the Meddart try.

There is no doubt that both teams have room for improvement and I expect the Irish to make it very difficult for their visitors on Sunday. If France can keep Brian O’Driscoll quiet, they can take a giant stride towards back-to-back titles with a solid performance on Sunday.
A season-ending injury suffered by Maxime Mermoz triggers a reshuffle with Damien Traille returning to the No.12 shirt and Clement Poitrenaud promoted from the bench to fullback. Yannick Jauzion earns a spot among the replacements alongside prop Sylvain Marconnet, who has been given the nod ahead of Castres’ Luc Ducalcon

TRY FOR IRELAND Fergus McFadden is over for Ireland for his first try in his second test
One area France do still look good though is the scrum. And for the second time in the match they’ve marched Ireland backwards. Ross having trouble against Domingo
Ireland has given away the penalty and France will have a shot at goal from just outside the 22 and to the right

Half time: Ireland 15-12 France
Ireland launch one last forray, but the French hold on as we head into the half-time break. It was a half of distinct periods – Ireland dominated the opening exchanges, the French settled down and looked good for 20 minute, but a late Irish rally gave them a 15-10 lead at the break.
