Ireland 22 /France 25 (Final Score)
Ireland and France locked horns at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday with each looking to maintain their 100 percent record in this year’s Six Nations competition. France in the end did not have to play that much rugby. They were accurate with the boot from Parra and Yachvili and the Meddart try.

There is no doubt that both teams have room for improvement and I expect the Irish to make it very difficult for their visitors on Sunday. If France can keep Brian O’Driscoll quiet, they can take a giant stride towards back-to-back titles with a solid performance on Sunday.
Traille gets the second half under way
Another penalty at the breakdown against Ireland – Paul O’Connell the guilty party.
is jy alleen da,ek het so n bietjie op die cheetahs se blog, hulle het hulle kit gisteraand gelaunche nogal blarrie windgat truie BAAAIE nicer as die wp truie
The French still use their big forwards to rumble the ball up, but this game is on a knife’s edge as Sebastien Chabal comes on to a chorus of loud booing.
Try France
Parra adds the conversion as France lead 22-15
Ireland have had just 34% of second half possession and 31% territory – not stats to build a winning performance on

Hahaha hear this Irish comment
The French kickers are mortal as Yachvili misses from in front despite being a long way out
Dimitri Yachvili, on for Parra at scrumhalf, is just wide of the uprights.
Ireland have conceded 15 penalties compared to France’s 6 now – and 7 have been in their own half
PENALTY FOR FRANCE Another nail in the coffin for Ireland as Yachvili kicks the penalty from a tight angle on the right
stuur ma ek sal hom gebruik dankie
Ronan O’Gara – on for Sexton – puts Ireland into the French 22 with a great touchfinder.
Ireland on attack , French hold on – 19th phase
Heaslip is in at the corner but the referee will check with the TMO
It looks good as Heaslip dives in at the right hand corner, now they’re checking Wallace’s pass
TRY FOR IRELAND TMO says yes. O’Gara lands it frrom the touchline. Game on
die iere het flat speed begin en toe raak die petrol op
Having gone through about 25 phases and made about two yards, the Irish finally flooded right and O’Gara almost messed it up by chipping through but the ball bounced kindly and Wallace fed Heaslip and Heaslip scored in the corner
They”ll now look to O’Garra to get them in the positions and pressurise the French and who knows another drop-goal finale?
komaaan paddyyy
Again the scrum is taking an age to complete – again today it’s had a total of more than 10 minutes scrum time. But from an Irish point of view they’ve won another penalty at the hit
And the French give up another stupid penalty (offside) to allow O’Gara to drill the ball deep into French territory
Ireland waste a golden opportunity – first a knock-on on the French 22 and then as they try to run it back, near halfway. This requiores nerves of steele and the Irish look a touch over-eagre.
Ireland will get that one last chance as France spill the ball in contact
Disaster for Ireland. After wining the ball and making it up to the 5 metre line they had a great chance to win it. But Fitzgerald couldn’t make it to the line and Cronin spilled the ball in contact as he charged for the line
Ireland give away the penalty at the scrum and France boot it off.
Full time: Ireland 22-25 France
Another damning stat for Ireland is winning 44 balls in France’s 22 – far outweighing France in that department. But they could not convert
