    @ grootblousmile:420 – Cheers gbs.

@ Bullscot:419 – Bullscot, I have been up to Aberdeen a few times. Probably been to most parts of Scotland.

Think there are 4 saffas in the Dutch side and their captain is kiwi.

Poms have 4 saffas as well.

Our talent is everywhere these days. Think Canada has a saffa in their side too.

I only really don’t like it when saffas are playing for a side that are top quality…hehehe. So don’t enjoy our saffas playing for England.

@ Bullscot:419 – Only saw the last few overs. So never got to see our other batsmen, but did get to see Duminy. He was great, but think the openers set it up nicely. Can’t wait for us to play England and India.

  • 424

    Doeschate out on 11.

  • 425

    @ Puma:
Yeah not the best to see the SA guys doing so well at the top level, oh well if there are too many to get into the Proteas then we may as well export some 🙂
What did you think of our little city mate? A good life here, would just be nice if summers were a bit warmer but otherwise we can’t complain.

  • 426

In today’s other World Cup game Pakistan batting 1st are 56/3 after 13 overs against Canada.

  • 427

    Holland 105/5 after 30 overs.

  • 428

Goodness another wicket Pakistan 67/4 after 15 overs & 3 balls!

  • 429

@ Bullscot:425 – Aberdeen is a nice city. Enjoyed it there. Plenty foreign workers up there.

Well you just have to live with the weather there. Cause no-one lives in Scotland for the weather that is for sure….hahaha. I just enjoy the people there a lot. Feels like home to me when I am there. Coming over in May. So looking forward to it. Have some of my Scots mates coming over end of September this year. Told them to come in October cause still thinking of going to wc. But if they can only make September then won’t go to wc. Always enjoy the Scots.

@ Bullscot:428 – Some strange stuff happening in this world cup. Not sure if we can believe it all..hahahaha.

  • 431

    @ Puma429:
Yes man very good people, lots are really kind. Will be great for you to come over then in May, about at least half the Mays I have been here has seen constant sunshine for a whole week, it can be a magic time of year when its like that, all the blosoms and real green grass especially nice when under blue skies, also great cause by then it stay light quite a while into the evening. Which parts do you plan to visit?

  • 432

@ Puma 430: Now you’re sounding cynical like me 🙂 Yip sometimes I think all the talk of alledged dodgy dealings has spoilt the great game, so that when there is a fairy tale result you are left wondering about it and not appreciating the joy for the underdog as much as before.

  • 433

Looks like Netherlands in even more trouble : 111/8 after 33.

  • 434

@ Bullscot:431 – Yes that is what I like about the people there, kind, but really friendly.

First stopping off in England. Have Scottish mate that has lived there for years. Then up to the border of Scotland visit a mate there, then up to Glasgow, then to the Highlands. Have also booked this time to stay for about 10 days at Loch Lomond, something I have always wanted to do. So will be all over the place there as usual…hehe. Every time I have been ther in May I have had good weather. Not hot but just great. No rain full sun. Sometimes May is better than their summer months. I really enjoy the long evenings, really lekker that.

  • 435

@ Bullscot:433 – Thought this would be no contest.

  • 436

Holland all out for 120 after 35.1 overs.

Have to check who we play next. Really looking forward to our games against England and India. Need to see how we do against proper opposition.

  • 437

@ Bullscot:432 – You know I just never know what to believe when some of the minnows klap a top team anymore.

  • 438

    @ Puma 434:
That sounds like a real nice trip you have planned there mate, haven’t been to Loch Lomond but it looks so nice. Drove past the turn off to it last week but didn’t have time to go there, if you’re in the area and haven’t seen it yet I recommend you take a trip to Falkirk wheel its quite an impressive but of engineering, maybe search it on google, also you got to see the Wallace monument in Stirling, the views from the top are amazing!
I guess thats the cricket wrapped up for SA a nice comfortable, should have been away ages ago so will say cheers for now mate.

  • 439

@ Bullscot:Have seen the Wallace monument in Stirling. It is really superb the views from there.

Many places the views are breath taking. I mostly enjoy the West Coast. Some magnificent scenery there.

You need to get yourself to Loch Lomond. Also beautiful there. Been there so many times, but never stayed on the Loch. This time gonna and really looking forward to it. AND don’t care what the weather is like. I always have a great time in Scotland.

Cheers mate. Good to catch up.

  • 447
