The Sharks have named a squad of twenty seven players to do duty in the Neo Africa tri-series in Cape Town over the next week and a half,  three young players were selected in the place of a few players out  with niggles, those being Anton Bresler, Dan Ojiambo and Mark Richards the Springbok 7’s Flyer.

Also as reported In Sharksworld the young Loose forward from South Western Districts Jacques Engelbrecht will join up with the Squad on a trial basis and is sure to get some game time. With two if the five Sharks loose forwards still out injured being Jean Deysel ( knee surgery) and Keegan Daniel ( struggling with a back injury).

 Steven Sykes (calf) and Luzuko Vulindlu (knee) are the other squad members who sustained minor injuries during last Tuesdays warm up against the Sharks XV, but should still be ready to take their places in the squad for the start of the Super series. Sykes is replaced by young Anton Bresler and Engelbrecht and Ojiambo replace the injured Deysel and Daniel, with Mark Richards called in as cover for the outside backs.

    much as expected

    i have not seen this engelbrecht kid play so now sure how good he is, i do know however he was made an offer by the bulls but prefered to take a trial at the sharks

    Sharks have good quality players for the S15, they must keep their feet on the ground and not let last years CC trophy go to their heads.

    They should compete well this year with the likes of the Bulls and the Stormers.
