London Irish’s South African prop Faan Rautenbach has been cited for stamping on Munster flanker David Wallace.
Rautenbach was yellow-carded following the incident during a Heineken Cup match against Munster in Limerick on Saturday.
Citing commissioner Francois Guers has made a complaint against Rautenbach, who allegedly stamped on Ireland international Wallace’s head and shoulder.
The case is to be heard on Thursday and the 34-year-old could face a ban of anything between a fortnight and maximum of 52 weeks.
