Morkel to Sharma, OUT, another one goes! Morkle gets the outside edge as Ishant hops to a short of a good length delivery that gets big on him, it flies to that man Kallis at second slip who juggles it for an instant, before holding it cleanly close to his chest
    I Sharma c Kallis b Morkel 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
    32.2
Morkel to Sharma, no run, goes back and plays out this delivery that straightens on off stump towards point
Ishant Sharma is the new batsman
    32.2
Morkel to Dhoni, (no ball) 2 runs, OUT, what do we have here? Harbhajan was slow to turn for the second as Dhoni pushed through cover, he had almost made it, but the bat came out of his hand, and Boucher underarmed the throw onto the stumps, replays show Harbhajan, minus his bat was just short of the crease, and India have added suicide to their mode of dismissal in Centurion
    Harbhajan Singh run out 27 (25b 4×4 1×6) SR: 108.00

Morkel to Sreesanth, OUT, stays in the crease and drives crisply in the air, but straight to short extra cover, who was the only man in front of the stumps, apart from the bowler, and he gleefully accepts the early Christmas gift, India are nine down
    S Sreesanth c Steyn b Morkel 0 (12m 8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

  • 255

    @ superBul:252 – One word…BRILLIANT..lol.

  • 256

We must just bat with great circumspection…. the pitch is damn difficult

  • 257

Fark, Tsotsobe has been poor, considering

  • 258

@ grootblousmile:256 – Seems like batting is tough out there, but if the sun is out tomorrow jsut maybe we are gonna be LUCKY..hehe. Hoping like crazy the weather plays ball.

  • 259

    @ Puma:258 – just

  • 260

    259@ Puma:
Hope it does not rain overnight

  • 261

    @ grootblousmile:257

  • 262

Surely they can’t go on much longer with this light?

    The sun is almost under

  • 263

This was a nice B/day present for me today…hehehe. Seeing our Proteas playing so well.

Well done Proteas very good start to the test. Really hoped we would get them all out. But superb from our bowlers today.

Now to get them out early as possible tomorrow.

With that I am out of here now. Catch up tomorrow.

    Cheers Super and Gbs.

GBS don’t shoot any animal tomorrow you hear??? If you aim, aim at the tree. I am far too much a animal lover to see them shot. Enjoy your day out, but just miss all the time okay? We need our wild life here. With that I am out. Catch up tomorrow.

Did you also enjoyed the starter?
    Peri Peri kangaroo steaks

  • 265

Looks like sanity prevailed… bad light stopped play

End of Day 1… a successful day for the Ama-Blomme

  • 266

    @ Puma:
or Wallabie wings, hahaha , do they have wings?

  • 267

    @ superBul:264 – hahahaha.

  • 268

@ superBul:266 – Super, we laugh at them now but I am totally sure the Aussies will be a force in cricket again. Just far, far too many great youngsters coming through there. That is their number one sport. Their pool of players over there is so huge. They just need to be brave and select some of the youngsters and start building again. They will be back up there. Just hope not when they come here to play.. 😀 Think England will have their number for now. Then you never know. Just have to see tomorrow, but for now can’t see them bowling England out twice in Perth. England will bat well there. That is a good pitch for batting. Oz will struggle to bowl England out in Perth.

Okay now out of here Super, catch up tomorrow.
