England hosted the Springboks at Twickenham at 16:30 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1, SuperSport HD & M-Net on TV in SA.
The Springboks came out firing in the forwards, dominating the forwards battle and scored 2 tries in the process, one a wonderful break by Lwazi Mvovo who gets his first international try.

Free kick Poms, they tap and kick ahead and Fransie Steyn punishes them with a good long kick
@ grootblousmile:
150 not fully rewarded by the ref, that ball went forward with that tackle.
McLook today we are tackling , just like you and i asked earlier this week.
Mvovo intercepts, then holds on… penalty, they tap… run, knock
Scotland 16 – 16 Samoa 79′
4 minutes left…. Bokke will win…
I am so happy!
Penalty Bokke from the scrum
Bissie is Man of The Match
Bismarck MOM
Intercept by Foden from CJ’s pass…. eishhhhh try Foden, under the sticks…. conversion taken quickly and missed.
Bokke 21 / 11
Bissie off, Strauss on, Lambie also on
This is cheapening the Bok jersey , why replace a guy with a minute to go?
Knock by England, scrum….
Seconds left….
… my Bru is horribly farked….. hehehe
Free Kick Poms…. time is up gents….
Scotland 19 – 16 Samoa Full time
CJ just f***-up a try and give one away. Dissapointing end to a perfect game.
Pommies knock and it’s all over!!
Bokke win by 10
Man, if only we played better last week….
Only 1 match for the SA fans left, the one next week against the Baabaas.
@mclook all he had to do was pass the ball earlier or comitted the defender
Bokke forwards were very good today…
So, what do you change for the Baabaas game…. I say send the same run-on side….

Yip, CJ held on a second too long….
Look forward to work on Monday 🙂
EVERYBODY in England predicted a English win.
With Bissie playing the way he is…. he MUST be the starting Bokke hooker for the RWC!!
@ smallies72:
This was (maybe with the exception of teh France game) our best game. But I am also worried by the inconsistancy of the Boks. And I still feel Snor should go. Gary Gold though can stay.
England forwards were way off the pace on ground ball, but did well in the scrums.
Jean was massive on defence at No 12.
175@ LondonBul:
Gary Gold, as supplemented by Os du Randt seems to be a working combo!
177@ smallies72:
