Exactly the expected WP team with Mossie out injured….
I see both the Blue Bulls and WP have all 3 their sides (u/19, u/21 & senior team) in the 3 respective semi’s…. with WP hosting their 2 junior semi’s and the Bulls hosting their 2 junior semi’s at Loftus.
Genugtig – you know a die-hard Bulls fan is sick when he encourages WP fans to wear blue and white to a Newlands semi!
Clearly that medication isn’t helping, GBS?
fender @ 3
ou gbs’ie is ñ ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu province supporter
I am not convinced about that back line. Aplon, Du Jongh and Jantjies are two too many small guys.
The Cheetahs have a big back line, Daniller especially.
I think based on that back line the Cheetahs wil take it.
breaking news:
if allistair is unsuccessful this year
province will bring in a new coach
…
from what i’ve heard the bloke is from japan
think his name is Mr. Please Win-somet’ing-soon!!! 😆
Did you hear that thieves broke into WP Rugby’s Trophy room last night?
…
Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a glass cabinet and a carpet. 😀
Q. How can you save a drowning New Zealand Rugby player?
A. You cant. You can drag him to the top, but he’ll choke anyway
“You can go to the end of time, the last World Cup in the history of mankind, and the All-Blacks will be favourites for it.” – Phil Kearns
@ smallies72:
Januarie will start against the Cheetahs this week, because the coaching staff believes the selection will provide continuity. It’s a harsh call considering the form of Dewaldt Duvenage this year, and the fact that he’s monopolised the No 9 position even when Januarie was available for the Stormers. To argue that Januarie is the right horse for the play-off course is absurd when you consider how important tactical kicking could be to the outcome.
That the forward battle is crucial is not up for debate. If WP can pressure the Cheetahs like they did the Sharks, they stand a good chance of advancing to the final. If they can win the forward exchanges, they need to make the correct decisions and execute efficiently in the back division. And if you want a player to provide continuity with ball in hand and alternatively kick Province into promising positions, you want Duvenage in a starting shirt, not Januarie.
@ superBul:
VRYSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!
Good WP team. Then on their day Cheetahs can beat any of the CC teams. So this is for you Loosehead. VRYSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT.. 😀
