Vodacom Western Province hosted the Sharks at Newlands, Cape Town at 17:05 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 & SuperSport HD & M-Net on TV in SA.
WP were clearly the hungrier team in this game and the Sharks played a strange lacklustre attacking game, with both teams scoring 3 tries each in the process.
With this last game in the regular Currie Cup season, the semi-finalists and where they will play is now determined, with the Sharks taking on the Blue Bulls in Durban and the WP taking on the Cheetahs in Cape Town.

What i am going to enjoy here is to see how this 2 teams soften each other up. This game can be replayed next week.
I recon it could be a WP win… but a close one
I picked the Sharks by 3 only because of their forwards.
So in this one i can either fall out of the bus or gain a lot against GBS and BB
WP with a Bokke backline (except De Waal).
Sharks with a Bokke front row and a spattering of Bokke and future Bokke all over.
Will be an interesting tussle.
