@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:83 – OldG, How you mate? I sent you another mail on Thursday while waiting for my flight back, but see nothing has been sent either. But I think that could have been the hotel connection as that was not working well. Will send you mail later.
Had some Shiraz at the airport in Perth and had a glass for you too. Have to say the Shiraz in Oz, must be the best Shiraz I have tasted ever.
Can O’Connor convert and win the game?
This is now turning into a ripper of a game.
Overrrrrrrrrrr
Ozzie win by 2 points

I am really glad you guys crushed their bubble, they could have lost 2 more games this year if the officiating was right. They deserve this one.
@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:115 – Well done again to your team. Hope you celebrating. Don’t matter where they play it is always great to see ABs/Wallabies/Boks playing.
It was good rugby by both sides… and the type of rugby I’d like to see from the Bokke… clever rugby, persistence, patience… hard up front, the loosies doing their primary jobs well… running when it is on.
This was an advertisement for rugby.
@ grootblousmile:118 – Agree with you there gbs, nice summary of the game. Hope Bokke can take note of this game. Not sure what to expect of our Boks for the up coming tour.
The wash-up:
This Wallabies side still hasn’t reached it’s optimum, but it is now putting runs on the board. Notwithstanding tonight’s result, this ABs side is still the best in the world; Wallabies need lots of work before they get close to being as good, but a win on the way is precious and well deserved. Don’t think for a minute that the wallas’ fans aren’t behind this team and its coaching panel because we are!!!! Aussies always like the underdog status and so we’ll keep plugging away.
As for the details, well, Giteau is in a bit of trouble. Barnes electrifies the backline, while Giteau has lost his penetration and go forward, not to mention goalkicking. Burgess is the ideal substitute for Genia late in the game. Chisholm needs a lot more work. Having said that, Palu and Polota Nau are still to come back from injury; Mortlock still has a part to play in this squad, and Rod Davies’ on the wing is a perfect game-cganger. All in all, Robbie Deans should be pretty happy with tonight’s result; next week is another week, and they have to do it all again.
As for the ABs, a champion side I give every respect to. One loss on the way to Europe won’t faze them much, so look out Northern Hemisphere!!
Excellent game, forget the politics and appreciate what we’ve just been fortunate enough to watch.
