@ grootblousmile:87 – Gbs, I am enjoying this new resurgence by the Lions. Always good to see a big Union on the up again.

I added him under the young upcoming stars, but got what you meant.
@ Puma:
Nice for Soda Joe, Ed the Lion and K9. Since I have known these guys their Lions have been woeful, until the last few weeks…and POW !!
91@ Puma:
Someone who supports both the Sharks & Lions have a penchant for pain and suffering…. hehehe
Damn, Viljoen taking a 67m kick at goal…. short.
@ Blue Bird:
Hi Blue Bird, Saffa Bulls fan in Scotland, although sometime not really sure what I am having lived here for quite a while and originally from Uncle Bobs place, but lived most my life in SA. How did you get to support the Blue Bulls, apart from the being the best of course? 🙂
@ Blue Bird:90 – Well what time you doing for the 4miles you will eventually do for 10km. Just need to do a bit more longer runs in your training. With the shorter training runs try those at a faster pace. Only twice a week do 5km at the time you would like to run your 10km races. The rest of the week do the longer runs at a slower pace. Tell your trainer he is running you into the ground………hehehe. I could work out a schedule for you if you run the longer runs. Will let you know okay 😀
Penalty Lions, about 10m out, they tap and go
@ grootblousmile:94 – Gbs… 😆
Lions are my 2nd team. BUT Sharks always first.
Try Taute
I see we have a lineswoman today, equality and all that.
Lions 23 / 15

Well done Lions, a try before halftime makes a big differenve in a teams spirrit.
@ Bullscot:
Well I am the resident Pom here and as a HUGE Percy fan first supported The Stormers…however when Tubby Conrad kept wearing the 15 shirt I got very cross…then Percy retired so The Bulls were a much more interesting option.
More ‘Exotic’!! 😉
Wat drink ons??
Laat ek maar ‘n sletsap gryp….
@ Snoek:
So no objections then? Is she pretty enough in your opinion, as this seems to be of importance to sporting Saffa males???
(You see I am still furious after the womens rugby comments) !! 😉
I spent the week in PTA, and i must say, trhe traffic is horrible. Glad to have made it out of there alive.

Hey Gbs would that fitness be as a result of Jake White’s time with them. Remember watching them, before he got there, against the British Lions and they looked so unfit I could hardly believe they were professionals.
@ Puma:
Puma, I now have to get fit for a 110k Bike Race!! So training will change!
I may need more running info next April/May tho! 🙂 Thanks for the offers there.
As Leeus hier wen is hul vir so 2 ure 2de op die log.
@ Blue Bird:
Nope, she is a bit butch, like most PTA women. 😆
Lions doing just fine. Good to see them playing well again.
109@ Bullscot:
No, ascribe the fitness to John Mitchell…. nobody else!
@ Blue Bird:
Ok well a wise choice of yours to join the champions then, even if it was for dubious reasons initially 🙂 ‘Exotic’??? Which club team do you support in England?
@ Blue Bird:110 – You can fit some running in with your training for the cycle race 😉 That is a tough race that cycle race, but great fun. You will enjoy it I know.
@ grootblousmile:
Ok but has he really been there long enough to have achieved that much on the physical front. he must have had a fairly decent base to start with, would they have been this fit if he got them at the start of the season in the state they were against the other Lions?
@ Snoek:108 – Snoek, Tell me about it. Joburg is even worse with traffic.
Pleased I left all that behind. Hated the traffic there.
Go Lions, take the game by the scruff of the neck.
117@ Bullscot:
He’s been with them for close on 13 weeks already…
