@ Muurbal:
hello mate…yea, flying back on the 1st of Oktober…can’t wait. This place has been good to me, but I had enough. Miss my friends and family, plus I don’t want my kids to grow up without ouma and oupa in their lives.
@ Puma: thanks for the tips mate….never heard of a bok-town before….only goes to show how long it’s been. All our friends live in Alberton, so we might move there…also because it’s closer to the OVS than the rest of Gauteng gie gie gie 🙂
@ bos_otter:32 – Bos, well it does make it easier if you go live near to friends. But the best Bok Town in the country is at MonteCasino. MASSIVE flat screen there. I mean MASSIVE. So take a trip there for one of the games when the Boks are playing. Or a S15 game. Good vibe and food there. BUT it is a long, long way from Alberton. Will be a hour or more drive I think. The traffic in Joburg is hectic, I mean really hectic.
Enjoy it though.
@ Muurbal:29 – Muurbal, I know. I came back from living in Holland. Took me awhile to settle back in SA. I went back to Joburg though when I came back. Then bought myself another house in Umhlanga and just went back and forward to Joburg and Umhlanga for years. Now settled just in Umhlanga. Life here is great. Slower than Joburg.
Joburg buddy, IS NOT SLOW…..HEHEHE. Life is hectic fast here, similar to London. Only it is car country and you don’t have to hop on and off the tubes. The weather is great in Joburg this time of year too. But the pace is fast there. Nothing like Cape Town our Umhlanga where the pace is far slower. People in these coastal places have more patience. But I do miss Joburg just a small bit.
Okay back for the Sharks game. Need to do a few things. Friends only coming at 4pm so have a bit of time before the game and the braai later.
Sorry for not replying staright away at times guys…running around at work to get everything done so I can shoot of home and watch the rugga
OMW home now….chat again a bit later
Central Districts 144/3 (17.6/20 ov)
Warriors
Central Districts won the toss and elected to bat
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SHARKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
End of over 20 (19 runs) Central Districts 175/3 (RR: 8.75)
JM How 88* (57b 12×4 3×6) M Ntini 4-0-52-0
K Noema-Barnett 53* (34b 5×4 3×6) J Theron 4-0-47-0
19.6
Ntini to How, 1 run
19.5
Ntini to Noema-Barnett, 1 run, half-volley again, drilled down the ground, but can’t beat long-off
19.4
Ntini to Noema-Barnett, FOUR, misfires the yorker, bowls a low full toss, wide outside off, and he steers it between backward point and short third man. He has had his chances, but has scored a valuable fifty here
goes round the wicket
19.3
Ntini to Noema-Barnett, SIX, slightly fuller but it is a half-volley and he has lofted it over long-off, what timing. Forget How’s century, Noema-Barnett is taking them towards a big target, and himself towards a fifty
19.2
Ntini to Noema-Barnett, SIX, length, length, length! That’s a sin at the death in a T20, and Noema-Barnett deposits it over the short midwicket boundary
19.1
Ntini to How, 1 run, full and wide, and driven to long-off for one
Ntini to bowl the last over
Temp 28 and full sun. Going to be a hot game today. See plenty wearing their pink too.
Go Sharks.
Middag almal.
Sterkte aan al die spanne, hoop ons sien mooi rugby.
@ superBul:
Two things in that last over, Ntini is only a shadow of the player who was once Worlds best.
That target is high, 176. All of us on Superbru must hold the collective thumbs for the Warriors to get this high total. Or else we all score ZERO.
Aaagh Bullsh%t that is not a Pink jersey
Wie borg die Sharks deesdae, Turkish Delight ?
Something like beacon All Sorts
Penalty – Louis Strydom missed
Penalty – Louis Strydom (7th min)
Sharks hier verloor, is daar groot druk op hulle vir eerste plek. Moet nog Leeus en WP weg speel.
Vrystaat hier verloor, dan is hul kans om tuissemi te kry nie meer in hul eie hande nie.
Try Albers … 😀 😀 Right under the posts 😀
@ Puma:
49 – Correction: Alberts.
Waar is al die mense, so stil hier ?
Ek hou score so ek is maar hier somewhere, ek is nou nie so vinnig soos GBS nie.
middag bdb
Central Districts 175/3 (20/20 ov)
Warriors 24/0 (2.6/20 ov)
53: middag biltong, geluk met jou span se goeie wen gister aand.
52: GBS op Loftus ?
ek dink so ja, dis mos sy span daai
@ bdb:55
Ja hy is oppad
Wel boys ek sal dit darem geniet as die leeus vandag daar op loftus wen
