The Wallabies will be forced to play their final TriNations match against New Zealand this weekend without winger Drew Mitchell.
According to reports Mitchell pulled his hamstring in the buildup to his second-half try in last weekend’s 39-41 victory over South Africa in Bloemfontein.
The Wallabies are not expected to call for a replacement with Peter Hynes being fit and available for selection after he missed the South African tour.
Other contenders for the starting place on the wing are Waratahs winger Lachie Turner, the Force’s Nick Cummins and the Brumbies’ Pat McCabe.
Another contender could be Cameron Shepherd who has recovered from a groin strain.
