Ex Test prop Toks van der Linde, now part-time TV presenter, will become the first Ex-Springbok to sing the National Anthem on-field ahead of the Tri-Nations clash between the Springboks and Wallabies at Loftus on Saturday.
Big old “Tokka”, as he is often called, will be joined by the diminutive professional singer, Karen Ferreira, in their rendition of Nkosi sikelel’ iAfrika.
The 40-year old Toks van der Linde played in 7 Tests for the Springboks, only starting in 2 and playing the rest from the bench, making his debut against Italy in Rome in 1995 and played his final Test against France at the Stade de France in 2001.

Toks sings well… bit Opera-ish but miles and miles and miles better than Ras Dumisane, the Anthem Butcher
