Blue Bulls (26) 43 / Leopards (10) 38 (Final Score)
The Blue Bulls hosted the Leopards at Loftus, Pretoria at 19:10 on Friday night 6 August 2010. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
The Bulls won by a measly 5 points and was hugely fragile on defence tonight…. they will have to change a few gears if they do not want WP to knock them for a big six next week!
The Bulls scored 6 tries to the Leopards 5 tries and managed to gather their bonus point win, but they wee patchy, to say the least.
Not good enough Bulls!

@ bos_otter:119 – Bos, What is your pick for this game?
@ Puma: bulls by 15
Well I never ever thought Bulls would only win by 5. Though I have the win but I am WAY OUT. LOL
@ bos_otter:124 – So you better than me Bos, I had 18. In our pool think the lowest was by 7 then me at 18. So maybe might not do that bad there.. 😯 result… 😀
@ Puma:
Puma….I think 90% of people will be way out on this one…Well done Leopards….certainly exposed a lot of weak spots in the BB defence 🙂
@ Puma:Puma….you also in Superbuls pool?
Shocking….
@ bos_otter: ignore that…just saw you there
@ bos_otter: I’m a superbru virgin….I will get there 🙂
I was right about 1 thing in my Preview summation…. Walter Venter and Michael Bondesio did trouble the Bulls….
@ bos_otter:128 – Bos, Yes always play in Super’s pool that is RT’s pool. Then Tripples pool and normally in Snoeks pool too. Forgot join Snoeks pool but think I may lose bonus points now. Not too sure. Also in Blouste’s pool which is keo’s pool.
@ grootblousmile: rofl..happens to the best of us 🙂 or did you mean the rugby? Sorry bru, my innigste meedelye 🙂
I was also right that our centres and Moses at the back is a huge problem….
@ grootblousmile:129 – Gbs, Bulls were but a win is a win. Just cost me points on my bru though.
@ Puma:so many pools…I suppose the RT one applies to us all, which makes it the important one hey ? 🙂
Going to check the bru pools. Back in 5min.
@ bos_otter:137 – Bos, Yip that is the one the counts the most for me is RT’s pool. As I blog here the most.. LOL. Back in 5min.

“Despite having more than 65 percent possession in the second half, the Blue Bulls lost the half 28-13 as their defence crumbled under the Leopard counter attacks and they were very lucky indeed to get out of the stadium with a victory on the night.”
