Well done to the All Blacks. Another Tri-Nations win to them. Well done and congrats to our kiwi bloggers here.

I had them by 10 points to win so hope I climb the ladder on our bru pool a bit 😀

Now for my Sharks later on. Think Lions will be far harder to beat than we think.

Anyhow I got the 10 point win on my bru for ABs spot on for a change 😀

I think Macaw will be mentioned in the same breath as Zinzan in years to come.

Maybe not now cos people a bit pissed at him but the guy is realllllllllllllly good.

  • 186

Well done to both teams…. and congrats to the All Blacks

  • 187

Sorry OldG. Abs were too good again. Just hope the Boks can win some at home.

Still two weeks before we play.

Interesting result tonight; ABs are at the peak of their game; too big; too strong and just too good. However, it’s not all doom and gloom for the wallas after that performance. I get the feeling they can and will play much better the more they play. The youngsters won’t like the result, so they’ll have to do better next time. Kaplan is certainly the pick of the international refs at the moment. No complaints, we were beaten by a classy outfit on the night. Congrats ABs!!!!

    @ Ashley:
jeez ash was mentioned at half time, something like kiwis 65 and Aus 25, not sure of exact figures but kiwis had done over double Aus tackles and Aus had more possesion i think.

@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:188 – OldG, Wallabies are doing just fine. A young team takes a few years to build. Just hope Boks can get a win or two on home soil and not go the whole Tri-Nations win not even a win.

Two weeks before we play. Really looking forward to Boks playing at Soccer City. A really magnificent stadium that. Pleased they are using it. I have gone on and on how we need to keep Kings Park in Durban but think it is time we moved over to the brand new Stadium too. It is awesome went to see one game there during the soccer world cup. Why not use those magnificent stadiums? Think Provence too should move over to Green Point Stadium. Why use old out of date stadiums when we have the those awesome stadiums? Time to move on I think.

    @ nga puhi:
Thanks mate, tenakwe. Your side too good on the day. Like you, I think there wasn’t enough penetration from the wallas. Control of the ball was adequate, but linebreaks few and far between. Carter was superb and McCaw outstanding. Pocock was wallas man of the match, I thought.

I don’t think Deans should cut his throat just yet, and I don’t see any changes in the coaching set up as being warranted. Elsom’s comments after match were succinct: they came to win, so there’s no consolation in only losing by 10.

Overall, room for improvement, but getting better.

Well done AGAIN to the A.B’s….

Now boys, time to leave your laptops and go and do weekend stuff……

You need to rack up some Brownie Points so you can come back later and blog without ‘hassle’ from the misses!

  • 201

Okay out of here now. Back for the Sharks game.

Once again. Well done All Blacks and congrats to their supporters. ABs playing really well this year. Also Wallabies played far better this week too. Boks had better be ready for both, going to be tough not only playing ABs but also the Wallabies.

Cheers all catch up later. Good chatting Poppa. Nice to see you here buddy.

    puma @ 201
    agree
    the all blacks looked good
we will have to be at our best to beat them at home

    congrats all blacks
    well done!!

    @ Puma:
New stadia sound fabulous Puma. Use them, I say, or they become white elephants. I’m looking forward to the Soccer City game. Boks are feeling wounded and will be very hard to contain at home.
This young wallas side will only get better, so the future looks bright, but a win against the old AB foe would have certainly lifted spirits, nonetheless, it wasn’t to be – there’s always the next match.

  • 205

    @ Ashley:lol Ash…you don’t know what’s brownie points? lol

    Dink aan gatkruip…

  • 206

@ Old Griquas 14 in Sydney:
cheers Griquas.. Pocock was by a mile your best player, so I dont think you guys have any concern in the 7 jumper now Smith has gone..

you now have the nucleus for a great future side… the young guys will only get better under Deans..
