Wallabies (17) 30 / Springboks (3) 13 (Final Score)
The Wallabies hosted the Springboks in Brisbane, Australia at 12:00 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSpor 1 on DSTV in SA.
The Wallabies, like feared, had a plethera of possession and break-down ball to work with in the 1st half, ran intelligently and recycled the ball well.
This earned them penalty after penalty and they built up a hefty lead as a result from kicks at goal.
In the 2nd half, when Dewald Potgieter replaced Ryan Kankowski, things evened up a bit, enabling the Springboks to score 2 tries but the Wallabies fought and defended well to maintain a lead and run out winners by a 17-point margin.
The final score was Wallabies 30 / 13.

OH MY FEKKING HELL!!!!!
YELLOW AGAIN.

f*k man!!
GBS hoe breek die geel kaart nou my gemoed
….hopefully this will open up the game and allow the ball to flow quicker 🙂 Let’s stay possitive
Mossie will forfeit his match fees to the rest of te Bokke, that was the deal Matfield spoke about!
There we go again losing a player in the first minutes to the bin. BLOODY HELL WHAT GOES ON IN THE HEAD OF SOME DAFT players head. J. Fourie that was just damn STUPID VERY, VERY STUPID tackle that will get cited too. Bugger I am angry with our players.
Now we play catch up again. For goodness sake we need to be more disciplined. Players getting yellows should be dropped for the next test. Teach them to be more disciplined. Letting the team down J. Fourie just not good enough.
aussies like nz did
are sealin the ball off at the ruck!!
Hoor my lied, Super Cooper is going to turn into Super Blooper today. I’m listening Ausie commentry and they are already complaining about the ref
@ Ashley:71 – Yip again Ash, I feel bloody spitting angry with J. Fourie. He will get cited for that tackle it looked worse than the tackle JdV had on Rene Ranger.
hehe Super Cooper stuffs up again
I said this week that the Bokke will have less than 50% possession in the game, we’ve had only 17% possession so far.
yeah ref hows about a free kick for us there
We need to slow down play a bit.
Bliksem habana
Well Ruan is a revelation at Scrumhalf
We are doing okay with our 14 men at the moment
Ruan is so much better than Ricky

We haven’t conceded any points thus far with 14 men on the field. I think that’s a major positive
