Sharks coach John Plumtree  although resisting to unsettle the team that has performed thus far, has  been forced to make a couple of changes due to injuries,  and for the most at the same time has stuck to the same starting line up that did duty against the Puma’s in Durban last weekend.

Players out due to injury are Alistair Hargreaves and Micheal Rhodes, with Monty DuMond dropping out of the 22 altogether, returning after an ankle injury is Steve Meyer, who slots  back into the flyhalf birth to resume his partnership with backline that showed so much promise in the match against the Blue Bulls 2 weeks ago.

New signing Ross Skeate will partner Steven Sykes at Lock, and Springbok Ryan Kankowski will slot in at the back of the scrum in place of the injured Rhodes,” Plumtree felt he want to stick with the form players that had served so well during this period”, in doing so inform Keegan Daniel moves from 8Th man to flank and Jacques Botes retains his place on the side of the scrum.

Players that have not fully recovered from injury in time for this weekend are, Jannie DuPlessis as well as his brother and fellow Springbok Bismark DuPlessis.

On the bench Ruan Pienaar and Andries Strauss come in as backline cover with Willem Alberts and Jean Deysel covering loose forward and lock  respectively, also on the bench is Beast Mtawarira, Eugene Van Staden , and Kyle Cooper, with a 5-2 split Plumtree undoubtedly is taking no chances with a very strong Free State pack.

    @ Greenpoint-Gunner:
    AC was maar die vark in die verhaal onder Jake White, wie onthou nog dit?

    @31 SuperBul

    Ek weet nie of AC die “vark” was nie. En ek dink dat Plumtree, Pieter Russouw en Fleck beter agterlyn coaches sal maak, MAAR ek kies AC, want, op internationale vlak is hy die mees ervare afrigter op die oomblik in SA, en ek dink as jy sy en HM se gestruktureerde benadering tot die game meng, gaan dit baie goed afgaan.

    Sorry….heel van die punt af…tokkit maar die internet service providers in Suid Africa is darem maar a fekking clomp sharks. Ek trek oor twee maande terug SA toe, so ek is besig om bietjie die pryse ect op alles uit te kyk. Ek kan nie glo watse swak service die internet service providers lewer vir die pryse wat hulle vra nie. Ek het tans n uncapped 24mb http://www.bethere.co.uk konneksie en betaal so £17 (R194) n maand. Ek kan nie glo die service providers kom weg met die bollie wat hulle aan die mense afsmeer in SA nie.

    Ek trek JHB toe, so miskien loop ek julle lelike gevrete dalk eendag raak in Soccer city of Loftus 🙂
