The Springbok kicking coach and former fullback said the SkyJump is definitely a must do for anyone coming to Auckland.
“It’s intense, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before and it’s so awesome seeing the view,” Montgomery said.
“I’ll definitely do it again during World Cup [next year],” he said.
During the SkyJump – one of the world’s longest land based adventure jumps – Montgomery fell 192 metres in 11 seconds.
Montgomery is in Auckland this week with the Springbok team, as they prepare for the Tri-Nations opener against the All Blacks at Eden Park on Saturday.
The Springbok team had an open training session this at Onewa Domain on Auckland’s North Shore on Wednesday, where they’ll be based during the World Cup 2011.
Percy, my hero…..
Good heavens, did he look in a mirror before he left the house wearing that outfit? 😉
Only joking Percy, you are gorgeous as always….!!!!
“Monty jumps off a tower”
