Adriaan Strauss, the Springbok hooker of the Cheetahs is finally back from injury (shoulder surgery) and immediately gets selected to start at hooker in place of Skipper Badenhorst, who is relegated to the bench.
Altogether 4 changes is made to the team by coach Naka Drotske, all injury related.
The 2 locks who played last week makes way for Izak van der Westhuizen after recovering from an ankle injury whilst Barend Pieterse replaces Vermeulen after recovering from an achilles injury and playing as a replacement last week.
In the backline Corné Uys replaces Meyer Bosman who is suffering from concussion.
The bad news for the Cheetahs, however is that Frans Viljoen will not play again this year, due to a serious achilles injury. Viljoen broke his jaw and left arm in the Super 14 this year and was on the comeback trail when he injured his achilles in training this week.

Very strong forwards pack for the Cheetahs and better balance to their loosie combo than the Bulls who play 2 fetcher-type flankers.
Cheetahs scrummie and flyhalf are not as good as ulls pair but the rest of the backline should have parity.
Will be a brutally hard match like it always is between Bulls and the Mielieboere!
Where is Loosehead?
Vrystaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt!!!
