All Blacks (20) 32 / Springboks (3) 12 (Final Score)
The All Blacks hosted the Springboks in Auckland, New Zealand at 09:35 SA Time. This is the match thread for discussion of the game. The match was broadcast live on SuperSport 1 on DSTV in SA.
The All Blacks comprehensively outplayed the Springboks and dominated all facets of play, even the lineouts and scored 4 tries to none.
The All Blacks won 32 / 12, a full 20-point margin seperating the sides.
Defensively the Springboks were found wanting on the outside channels and also allowing the All Blacks to speed up the game and run with their dangerous back three with great effect.
On the ground Read, McCaw and Kaino were masterful and Kevin Mealamu had a sterling game at hooker.
Back to the drawing board for the Springboks but some players still emerge with credibility, Zane Kirchner, Schalk Burger and Jaque Fourie.

Kom Bekker, jy moet tekkel!!
Try Kieran Reid
nope. thats the game!!
BJ Botha on
Penalty Bokke, kickable
NZ 27 / 12
Bokke needs 2 tries badly
Hec, the Boks have left themselves a mountain to climb!!
@ grootblousmile:
Boks have to stay in touch, remember, this is a tournament over quite a few games in various home venues, so bonus points are crucial. Boks might drop this match in AKL but the end game is the Tri Nations ladder.
Bokke: attack!!!
Our tackles are poor compared to theirs. This game was won by the better tackle.
NZ dangerously on atack again, building the phases
Bokke get a relieving panalty on their 5m line
wel een troos
is
dat die all blacks nie ñ wc sal wen met dié soort game nie 😀
@135 – Regtig? As hulle so speel gaan hulle almal wegblaas. Die Bokke benodig Fourie du Preez, en meer Bulle in die span veels te veel van daardie Stormer kak in die span.
nog ‘n onnodige skop …
Another Bokke lineout goes pear
I hear John Smit still has plenty of ‘winter coverage’…..Is it slowing him down?
Like Old Griquas I can’t see a thing!! Grrrrr
NZ turns a Bokke ball over again.
Yet another Bokke lineout stolen… fark !!
Bokke gets a turnover for a change… to be turned again… eishhhhhhh
#136
nee boet
hulle’t dit al voorheen probeer
Today ABs too good
Mis Brussow big-time !
10 min left, the mountain is too steep I’m afraid
Absolute rubbish from the boks.
En in 1987 het dit gewerk. Jy hoef nie Jack Poef rugby te speel om te wen nie. Die Bulle het die seisoen percentage rugby gespeel wat aanvallend was. Nie net ‘n skop game soos laasjaer nie. Jy kan kompetisies met all out rugby wen.
Butch on for Morné… eishhhhhhhhh
`Jake Poef ek bedoel
